Currency format
I want to change the currency format from dollar to rupee.
Is it possible?
By default, Excel uses the currency specified in your system settings.
You can select any other currency by selecting the cells, then selecting More Number Formats... from the Number Format drop-down on the Home tab of the ribbon.

go to the Home tab in Number group you go Accounting Number format in this select rupees India English.
Select a column, row, cell range, or cell that you want to apply the format to, then use Command-1 to display the Format Cells dialog. On the Number tab, in the Currency category, choose one of the formats for India. There's one for Punjab, and that might be what you are looking for,
