Currency format of cells with formula

Question

Hi, I'm sure there is a really easy answer or setting somewhere for this, but I have looked everywhere.

I have a number with currency format in column A, $8.00, and a formula in column B =IMDIV(A1,2) and for the life of me I can't seem to get the result of column B (4), to be displayed in a currency format ($4.00).

&nbsp;
Why don't you use =A1/2 ?
