Currency format of cells with formula

Hi, I'm sure there is a really easy answer or setting somewhere for this, but I have looked everywhere. I have a number with currency format in column A, $8.00, and a formula in column B =IMDIV(A1,2...

Hi Crystal,

IMDIV() takes two complex numbers and returns results as a text https://support.office.com/en-us/article/imdiv-function-a505aff7-af8a-4451-8142-77ec3d74d83f

Why don't you use =A1/2 ?
