Can Table automatically expand rows if the sheet is protected. (Without VBA) ?
I need to be able to expand table rows by adding data,
However I want to protect sheet, since few columns include formula.
Is there a way to protect sheet and still be able to expand table, without using VBA?
I've attached a sample file along.
I was told the behavior is how it is supposed to work, i.e. protect a sheet and contents are locked. I'd look for a shoulder shrug emoji right now if I were texting lol. I really, really wish it wasn't this way, but such is life.

- Zack BarresseIron ContributorUnfortunately no, what you're asking cannot be done. It has been brought up many, many times, and we've been told it is working as intended and not a bug (although I still disagree). There is no good solution here, only compromises.

Bummer. Is there an explanation as to why it was intended to be like this?Zack Barresse
