I have created a runbook solution to check an internal certificate authority (CA) if there are certificates which expire within the next 30 days and notify the requesters. You can find more details on my blog post: https://systemcentertipps.wordpress.com/2016/12/10/scor-2012-monitor-expired-ca-certificates/1.1KViews5likes0Comments果博东方开户+威a3322148
DPM 2019, using SQL 2019 on a 2019 server. The server was doing a consistency check on a file server. The check lasted about 33 hours and the items scanned showed over 4 million. There is no way a server could have 1 million files and folders, let alone 4 million. Does anyone know why the number of items scanned would be so high?57Views4likes0CommentsIs the co-management going to handle this differently when a device is re-imaged?
When a device joins AzureAD and is re-imaged, we notice the device appears multiple times in AAD/Intune as it receives a unique ID. Obviously this does not happen on the domain joined side. Is the co-management going to handle this differently when a device is re-imaged? I know that the Fall Creator's update has a way to reset a device to its original state which would probably help with the multiple instances getting created in AAD/Intune…just wondering if there will be any known issues when the device appears multiple times after a re-image process.Solved1.6KViews4likes4CommentsWelcome to the Co-management with Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager AMA

Are there any plans to give the community greater visibility to errors that we see in stand alone intune? e.g instead of seeing that an error occurred. It would be nice to see what the error was, and what service is affected within the tenant rather than just a generic error code. If we could have access to reporting tools and logs, then it would greatly help speed up the process when it came to troubleshooting issues that arise from time to time.825Views3likes1CommentMigration tool
hi, I heard of about this tool : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/mdm/deploy-use/migrate-import-data , which is supposed to migrate the SCCM content to Intune. You say that it migrates policies/packages/CIs/VPN or Wifi profiles, and stuff like this : I understand there are some limitations, explained in the documentation, but are you not afraid that vast majority of users will not be able to use this tool in a prod way, because of the various current Intune limitations like no PS script support yet available, not all GPOs are existing in the "LocalSecurityPolicies" CSP, packages that are EXE-based or contains several MSI files, and so on... ?7KViews3likes3CommentsSystem Center Updates Publisher adds support for new OSes
Hello everyone, we are happy to let you know that an updated version of System Center Updates Publisher (SCUP) is now available and can be downloaded here. SCUP enables independent software vendors or line-of-business application developers to manage custom updates. Using SCUP, you can: Import updates from external catalogs (non-Microsoft update catalogs). Modify update definitions including applicability, and deployment metadata. Export updates to external catalogs. Publish updates to an update server. Read about it in the Enterprise Mobility + Security blog.984Views2likes0CommentsSCSM 2019 - Skip Activity Task for non-admins
Hello Community! So this is my first post and hoping it brings value for some of you! I currently work at Cireson and in my role I am heavily involved in the SCSM space. Recently I had a request from a customer to ask if there was a 2019 version of the below Custom Task that Rob Ford built: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/SCSM-2012-Skip-Activity-5a3a763d#content I noticed that there wasn't (Well I couldn't find one!), so decided to refactor Rob's code and get this working for 2016/2019. The aim of this task is to allow non admins to skip activites in the console as the out of the box task is admin only. So simply this is just a task override. Attached you will find an .mpb file which contains the .xml, the icon and the .dll which is running the code for the task. Just import the .mpb into your SCSM environment and give it a test! Let me know what you think and if this will help. Thanks, Shane1.4KViews2likes0CommentsFirst System Center Semi-Annual Channel release now available

There were several questions about the SCCM cloud management gateway, so here are some resources for future reference: Plan for CMG (requirements, features, cost estimates, FAQs): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/clients/manage/plan-cloud-management-gateway Install and assign Configuration Manager Windows 10 clients using Azure AD for authentication (using CMG with Azure AD and Intune) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/clients/deploy/deploy-clients-cmg-azure1.5KViews2likes0CommentsGetting to Co-Managed Starting from ConfigMgr
A lot of the co-management story has been around using Windows AutoPilot to AAD DJ a device, enroll it in Intune, and use Intune to push the ConfigMgr Client. Since 70%+ of managed devices today are managed with ConfigMgr, is there a path to take existing AD joined ConfigMgr managed devices and enroll them into Intune for co-management?940Views2likes1Comment
