Unable to reset my PC
Hi Insider Community, Hope you are doing great! So I tried to reset my PC from the recovery options menu and selected reset my PC. It opens a permission window then asks for keep my files or delete my files options where I selected keep my files. This shows an error saying you files could be modified by some else which seems strange and I couldn't reset my PC. Please find the attached screenshot for the issue. Best Regards, Siddhartha Sharma

Unable to reset my PC
Hi Insider Community, Hope y'all doing great! I am currently facing an issue while trying to reset my PC. After clicking on the reset my PC button from the recovery menu, I am redirected to the system permission dialogue box. After clicking yes on it, I choose the keep my files option but it shows an error right after that saying someone could be controlling/modifying my files. It seems really odd to me after seeing this error here so I am reaching out for a solution now. Thanks & Regards Siddhartha Sharma

How to view large background images in the Windows system taskbar
want to view the large image of the taskbar background, but I can't zoom in, and I can't find the source of the current image for 2025 or the daily replacement pattern. I need a solution.

Windows Start Menu Search UI flashing white briefly when opening
Been having this issue on Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.4946. It was clean installed from USB on 8/12/2025. Whenever I use the start menu and type in the search bar the search ui will sometimes briefly flash white before showing dark mode and the rest of the ui. I'm not sure how to fix this or if it can be fixed. I've also noticed it if I click on the search bar on the taskbar Things I've Tried: Updating graphics driver SFC/DISM Restarting DWM and Explorer from Task Manager Reset Web Experience and CBS with powershell Inplace Upgrade It's not a huge issue as the search still works but it is driving me crazy. I'm not sure if it's the bug with Windows 11 Dark theme when it renders the light theme first then renders over it or what. File Explorer and Task Manager don't have this issue. I looked around online and I didn't see anyone else having this issue with the search menu.

Windows Insider Update KB5062673 is not installing
Hey guys, hope this message finds you well. I've tried for a bunch of days to install Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (KB5062673) (26120.5733) on my Windows 11 Pro. But I received an error (0x800f0831), and this update was not installed, nor was it hidden. I've tried uupdump.net ISO file 26120.4452_amd64_pt-br_professional_356d2697_convert according to my Windows 11 Pro Version, but it doesn't work. I received (0x800f0915) error when I tried to mount the ISO in letter E, and run the following command: `DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:E:\Sources\install.wim /LimitAccess` I used my laptop for work, which means I can't format and install everything from 0. Can you provide me with any tips to solve this issue? Thanks for your time in advance.

How to download youtube video on mac with 4k or 1080p
Hi all, Currently, I have a new programming course this semester and to get me more prepared, I want to learn the basic by myself. Actually, I found a couple of very interesting videos on youtube and already approved by the author to do that. I have a Mac computer at home and a Windows 11 PC at school. Is there any way to help me download youtube video on mac that supports 1080P or 4K video? Before making a new discussing, i already tried a few online youtube downloader tools but the video quality is awful. I want something fast and high quality. Thanks

No WiFi options on used laptop ?
Hello. I just got a used HP 14s Laptop, and after fresh win 10 install, my wifi options are not showing. What i tried: Turning airplane mode on/off. Not sure if this laptop has some kind of physical wifi activation other than F12 key, but i couldn't find it Troubleshooting, but it finishes in 3 sec, saying all fine Resetting the network in Network and Sharing Enabling boot from network in the BIOS Restarting the laptop countless times

Can't get Dual Screen to work correctly
I'm using a Samsung 32" TV as my main monitor, and a Dell 15" monitor as a secondary. The Samsung has a 1366x native resolution and the Dell has a 1024x. I can't get the two different resolutions to display my desktop correctly. Either the Dell monitor truncates the desktop and rearranges the icons that don't fit, or the Samsung displays everything correctly and the Dell alerts that it's resolution is wrong. Windows 10 also insists on calling the Dell Display 1 whereas I'd like the Samsung to be that. I'm only using the dual screen to play video games. The Samsung shows the game, and the Dell has the research websites I use for parsing.

Windows not loading up - how to fix?
We have a laptop with dual-boot Windows 10 and Linux Mint. However, Windows no longer boots after selecting it from the list of boot options (Linux Mint is first, then Windows and then UEFI/BIOS setup). The busy spinning circle symbol just stays on the screen (and sometimes says it is starting repair) and nothing happens. We have tried restarting the laptop multiple times but the issue persists. Any suggestions to fix this would be much appreciated

Moving Files or Programs
I have 2 internal drives, on is a SSD and the other is a HDD. Is it possible to move a program or file from one drive to the other without having to mess with the registry and if so how?
