This blog post is the latest in a series of updates to let you know about updates to Marketplace Rewards. You can follow along with the tag Marketplace Rewards to capitalize on these changes.
Welcoming more Teams app publishers
The marketing ecosystem is dynamically evolving, and with it, the needs of our partners are adjusting, too. So we’ve updated the requirements for Marketplace Rewards benefits for Teams app publishers. If you’ve published a Teams app, you no longer are required to be engaged in ISV Success Build or Publish or have been part of the legacy Microsoft 365 ISV Benefits program.
Now, if you’ve published a Teams app in the Microsoft commercial marketplace, you’ll unlock performance-based benefits and get a dedicated Engagement Manager based on your Teams apps MAU metric.
Unlocking more benefits as you sell
These benefits are proven to help you attract and engage your customers, accelerate your growth by generating new leads, and expand your partnership with Microsoft. This change applies to you if you’ve published a Teams app and are selling. The more you sell, the more benefits you unlock. The following chart shows the new levels of Azure sponsorship:
We’re excited to welcome more Teams app publishers to unlock the proven benefits of Marketplace Rewards. We're dedicated to your success. As the Teams platform continues to grow, we're ensuring that the rewards, support, and opportunities for our partners keep pace.
