I'm a documentation guy, experienced with Sharepoint, but a total Flow newbie. I'm in a contract in the insurance space, in the KM group. I'm developing a documentation library, the aim of which is for drafting and review of Knowledge articles for ultimate publication in another system altogether. I don't want to enable Content Approval and Checkout because it's a small-team Drafting workshop with frequent minor edits, and constant check-outs and approval requests would be a major drag. So I'm trying to work out a document review flow to send MS Word drafts to various expert users. The first action is to send a link to a SharePoint document with a message for them to review, make comments, and save when done. I have worked out how to do this part. But I have this idea that I could create a Status flag for the documents so when a link has been sent out for review, the flow would automatically set the flag for that document to 'Under Review'. Then I could filter out the Under Review documents from the W-I-P documents, so the rest of the team are less likely to edit them while they're being reviewed, without literally checking them out. Is that do-able? Make sense? The other thing I'd like to do is capture the time:date sent in SharePoint in a Sent for Review field. Then there would then be an auto-calculated Due Back field (i.e. five working days after the Sent date), with an email reminder sent midway through day 3. So that's my workflow requirement in a nutshell. I've been looking through all the templates but none of them do exactly this, and many of them seem to assume Content Approval and Checkout, which I'm trying to avoid.SolvedConnect Zapier with Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server to automate your business workflows

Suggestion (SS): 37 Classification: bookmarks bar PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 5 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) I already told you different suggestions about bookmarks bar for example here https://link.ws/tedgbookbar but even in other post too. I already told you about favicon extension bar in safari too. Now what i want is that the bar is able to do what favicons can. If i add 400 links, and each section contains a workflow (for example link 1-50 workflow 1, 50-75 to 2, etc...) i want to scroll such bookmarks, so that i can see workflows link directly. instead of seeing a-g in the bar and h-z hidden, you need to hide a-g (left), show me h-o and hide p-z (inside >> to the right). i still wish i can add custom color to folders in the bar; replace javascript icons with a text (example P for pocket) or an icon (pocket), etc. see more here https://link.ws/tedgbookbar PS: pin javascript links! they are already on the left. so if i visit workflow 2, i want to see my 4-8 javascript on the left, not that you hide it. so we need a feature "pin urls" too, but i already told you about that in other post too (especially pin to the right). your bookmarks bar should work a bit like my touchbar. i have pinned things on the left and right, and i scroll things in the middle.1.9KViews0likes5CommentsSharePoint Workflows in Android or IOS devices, is it supported ?
What is the support for SharePoint workflows in the modern SharePoint online in mobile devices ? Android and IOS. Workflows, how much are they supported ? For the mobile devices, Some test results are (android): Google Chrome: Simple approval of a list item in dummy list : works Start a custom workflow created: works SharePoint App: Simple approval of a list item in dummy list : works Start a custom workflow created: works (iPhone - iOS >12.): Safari: Simple approval of a list item in dummy list : works Start a custom workflow created: does not work SharePoint App: Simple approval of a list item in dummy list : works Start a custom workflow created: does not work In the doesn't work scenario : We can access the initiation form of the Workflow. When we click on Start, we are redirected to the right page. After that nothing happens. When checking the item workflow page we see that the workflow was not started (nothing in progress, nothing completed, etc.). Any suggestions why the custom workflow works in android but not in the IOS devices, in browser as well as the app ?1.8KViews0likes3CommentsGetting error when trying to approve workflow
Hello, I have a workflow (request approval (everyone must approve) for a selected item) which was working fine, but just run the workflow again recently and found out that 2nd and 3rd approvers cannot approve the workflow both through outlook and teams. Approvers got "You did your part, no further input is needed" email when they try to respond to the request via Outlook, and got "Something went wrong, wait a bit then try again" message when trying to approve the request through teams. Person who responded to the workflow first could approve the workflow, but only the latter ones cannot approve. There have been some MS updates and thinking that caused this issue with the workflow. Any has the same issue? Thanks a lot1.3KViews0likes1CommentFlow or Workflow for a SharePoint doc library where approval is required for a checked-in doc
Hi All, Does anyone know how to create a Flow or Workflow for an online SharePoint document library where approval is required for a checked-in (major) document? We are working on a new experience, Online SharePoint site. I have done this before on a SharePoint 2010 on-premise site, but I cannot get it working for a new SharePoint online document library. The approval email that is sent out to outlook online thinks you are using Outlook 2010 and there are reject approve buttons on the outlook menu, but there is no button within Outlook online. I hope you can help Alan1.1KViews0likes0CommentsImages in Microsoft Lists with Status via Power Automate for visual progress
I saw this for a status on a website and thought it might be helpful to have this and would need to talk with the marketing department for graph changes. Have people had success with this or used or have recommendations for it. I have the status with back and forth and it is not as straight forward as some things such as onboarding might not be as straight forward. We have maybe eight or so different status which is not tough yet wonder how it would be with a graphic for such various options.908Views0likes1Comment2013 Workflows not visable
I have setup several lists that contain simple workflows with a platform type of SharePoint 2013. The problem is that no other users on the SharePoint site can see the workflows. If I create in 2010 platform they are visible. What am I missing that will allow them to be visible to other users. I have added the users as full control of the list so I don't think it is a permission issue. I need other users to be able to start the workflows manually. TIA Gary800Views0likes1Comment
