5 TopicsHow to download a file from onedrive that is marked as virus-infected?
I have a source file that is (I believe erroneously) marked as virus-infected. OneDrive does not allow me to download it. I have even renamed it to a .txt extension, but it still refuses any download. If I try the "open in text editor" option it gives me the following error: To protect your pc and other files we've removed open share and other commands. Contact your admin for options or https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-to-do-when-a-malicious-file-is-found-in-sharepoint-online-onedrive-or-microsoft-teams-01e902ad-a903-4e0f-b093-1e1ac0c37ad2?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us The learn more link is really not that helpful. As a personal OneDrive user I don't really have an admin to turn to. Google searching tells me the way to download the file is to use PowerShell Get-SPOMalwareFileContent. However, that command is only accessible to SharePoint admins. But I'm only a consumer personal OneDrive user. What I see is that the site seems to indicate that I should be able to download the file regardless of all warnings, but none of the download options and buttons do anything. They don't give an error, clicking on download just does nothing at all. Can anyone help?1.1KViews0likes5Commentsvirus but windows defender nothing detected
Laptop / network hack Hello! Someone hacked my network, then my laptop and it was encrypted with a bitlocker. I decided that I would write to Microsoft support, the only thing they helped me to do a scan with an antivirus and said that if the bitlocker turned on by itself, the laptop was attacked. I put the system up again because I had backdoors and rootkits, I said that there is no point in sticking to the hacked paw and cleaning it. The system is brand new, but the problem with the old computer has not disappeared 😞 Windows defender firewall! It is hacked and if I put it in the window and move it, it crashes. Very much as if my mouse breaks and goes crazy. I don't have the strength and I don't know what to do. I wrote to you, maybe you can help me in advance, thank you very much because I got lost myself.6.6KViews1like18CommentsIs it safe to disable secure boot in the UEFI for installing Linux OS?
I needed to install Debian wheezy a couple of years ago and the computer wouldn't boot to Linux SSD (Solid State Drive) separate hard drive unless I disabled secure boot in the UEFI (Unified Extended Firmware Interface). So I disabled it. Does it make Windows 10 less secure? I read somewhere that without this option enabled malicious software, adware, spyware, virus, rootkit, trojan, keylogger, ransomware, worm, etc. can gain control of my PC like in other legacy and deprecated Windows. So now when I boot into Linux I disable the option and when I am working on Windows enable this option. It's kind of annoying. So this question.Solved6.6KViews0likes1Comment
