Reading progress.
It would be great ful if you add reading progress in the general teams insted of school profile IDs. Because many government school teachers have Lowe resources and funds to establish Digital rooms. So we can use the reading progress with our students in the personal teams account. Please consider. Thank youm
Teams recognizes my headphones but turns them off.
So because I have online classes I need to use Teams. I plugged my headphones in and it recognizes them at first but then just says that they've been disconnected or that it doesn't recognize them. When it says it doesn't recognize them, I check the settings and there it says it does recognize them. It didn't do this in November but now it does. Any solutions?
Bug?? Sharing teams Assignment posts
Hi guys Has anyone come across a bug when sharing an Assignment post (ie a post that is created by the assignments bot when an assignment is created) using the "Share to Outlook function" a message is generated in the body of the email with text and a link as follows "Card - access it on https://go.skype.com/cards.unsupported." Any ideas what is causing this? The link is not entered by the user manually or taken by teams from the instructions or any attachments in the Assignment. What is strange this is not happening every time, only certain posts cause this bug. Appreciate your input. Thanks Michal
MS Teams Screen Freezes when Screenshare
Hello, I am a student and recently got a new laptop with Window's 11. My School uses MS Teams for our online lectures. I have no issues accessing logging on to the meeting, however when anyone presents their screen, the screen on my end freezes. No other students in the meeting have this issue, and audio is still live. Team's itself is still running (its doesn't crash, I can still see the comments, etc.), just the screen where my professor is presenting content is completely frozen. I've restarted and ended the program on task manager and no luck. Are there any current work arounds? I have seen some similar issues on forums.
Microsoft Teams Android App Video Sharing Not Working
Im a Lecturer at a School who uses my Samsung Tablet for my Lectures Because or Covid19 prevention i.e wfh. Unfortunately we are required to use MS Teams only for said Lectures. To my utter surprise, having a lot of expectations for "Logical" computer company like microsoft, the Video Share option for MS Teams App on my Samsung is not working. I have a video saved on my one drive and I also uploaded a video on the MS Teams Team Files and Channel. After joining/starting the meeting, I immediately clicked on the Share Icon(Box with Arrow Up) and then clicked on Share Video option. It would then take me to window with 3 options on the bottom of the window namely: Files, Photo, Video. The Video Option is actually Sharing your video through your phone or Tablet Camera. Obviously theres no use for that in my lecture. Which leaves us with the File option, of course expecting that we can access our local android files or One Drive files. I click on the files option then it only gave me with 2 folder options. These are Onedrive and Teams and Channels. When I went into those folders, i cannot access any videos at all. Microsoft What the hell? Really? So I tried to find an alternative. I figured maybe I can use Share screen and play the video from my Tablet instead. I wasnt able to do it from my gallery, I have to use VLC. The video played but with no Audio. I mean again Microsoft what the hell? Really? For a company that creates computer, which you would expect to be logical, this is very disappointing. Why the hell can we not just play a freakien video when you created that freaken option? Why? Why? Why? Does anyone here know any work around this?Ms teams turn in assignment- add work not working
I am having a problem uploading files in teams, i.e I can't add work in the "work section" in assignment in my pixel 4a. when I click on add work it takes me to the files and I select the file, but it doesn't get uploaded. I have tried In my samsung device it works just fine but in my pixel 4a it's not working. Android version 11 device pixel 4a issue:- add work not working.
Custom UI localization
Hey, I'm looking for a way to localize some words differently in the UI for my organization. In germany at schools you have "Lehrer" (Teacher) and "Schüler" (Student) but here at University we call them "Professor" and "Student". So is there a way to customize the localization of some words in the UI ? Thanks for help 🙂
How to unlink my phisical headphone mute button from the teams digital unmute button ?
my school started using teams for work and classes, but there is a problem. I have to talk with my study group of five people in discord, but my physical unmute button linked with Microsoft teams meaning I can't talk with my study group. If I try to unmute with the physical button it unmutes me in teams. Please tell me how to turn off this feature.
MS Teams dropping from meetings randomly
Hi all We have been having some issues with my daughter's school Teams experience. They have remote learning sessions a few times a day and we cannot stay connected throughout the call. After joining, we get randomly dropped any time, when we reconnect same thing happens. I also work from home and I use Teams whole day, I organise, join meetings several times a day and never had an issue. This only affects my daughter's school account. The other kids in the class do not have any issues at all, it is only us. I have been searching the forums and trying to find a solution but whatever I tried didn't really help. I tried following 1- Using different devices. Initially we were using laptop PC app then iPad and finally android phone. We have exactly the same issue on every device. 2- After noticing a forum thread, I logged out all devices but only one. Still the same problem 3- Tried the web app via Chrome browser - same result including on a different laptop 4- Another forum thread recommended turning off new meeting experience under the settings, I turned that off and I don’t know if that was our lucky day, it worked fine only for one session. After that the problem persisted. 5- I uninstalled Teams on every device I have and tried installing from scratch and logging in only one device. Still the same problem 6- I thought our internet provider (BT) might block some protocols which the Teams for education would be using and called BT. They confirmed there is no restriction at all. 7- I tried using LAN cable connection just in case our wifi was not good. Again the same result. 8- I tried android phone on 4G network to make sure our broadband is not faulty: same result! School don’t have an IT specialist and the headteacher doesn’t know that much about IT. After asking their central IT support they recommended using a different device. They gave us a new iPad but the result is the same I am going nuts as I cannot find a solution to this. The weird thing is that I use Teams for work without any problem. I appreciate if you have any ideas and help! Thanks in advance
