Hi All I am not great with S4B so i am hoping for a little help. One of my clients is trying to set up a skype meeting on behalf of another account... he apparently has the correct permissions but gets an error stating that the user accounts in outlook and S$B do not match. i have taken a look and SIP and SMTP adresses for both users are ok. the only difference i can see is that 1 account is homed in Azure AD and the other on Windows Server AD.... how can i resolve this issue...1.6KViews0likes3CommentsSkype for Business Online Extension Dialing Mobile App
Hi, We have a SfB 2019 Hybrid with SfBO and On-prem PSTN with Audiocodes mediant 1000b with IIS ARR 3.0 as RP. When we move a user to the cloud, he is suddenly not able to dial out with extension from the mobile app. When he tries he instantly gets "The call couldn't be completed. Please try again later." He is able to do the same from a PC though... When I move him back to on-premises, he is again able to dial extensions from both phone and PC. I found and set this up for a few test users, sadly without any success - https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/cloudready/2017/08/01/skype-for-business-online-extension-dialing/ Am I missing something? I cannot find any other information on this topic... It looks like it should be possible I just don't know what I am missing here. Is there a way to allow users with Full Mailbox Access to a shared mailbox which has Unified Messaging enabled to manage the "Voice Mail / Call Answering Rules etc" options section in OWA? They can manage their own just fine, but not for a shared mailbox ... I know we can use PowerShell / EWS etc. but not found a way to allow via the web interface yet,15KViews0likes5CommentsHow to collect EXTRA Trace for Exchange UM Issues

Hi, First message here so forgive me if its in the wrong place. We have a Hybrid Skype for Business Solution with One Front End Server, and One Edge Server. The servers have the correct certificates installed and SfB to SfB works perfectly internally and externally. Also mobile SfB is working fine. The issue is i can not message or call public Skype users. I have registered with PIC (Public IM Connectivity) https://pic.lync.com/ and have received notification that the provisioning is complete but the testing still does not work. I have tried all the little tests like recreating the Public Providers and switching off and on the public and external access buttons and waiting the allotted time but still no joy. I have full logging on my Desktop Client and the only real lines of question in the logs are these <reportError xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2006/09/sip/error-reporting"><error toUri="sip:marcus.martin1975@outlook.com" callId="716eacac1e364a038b1b231f321b8e68" fromTag="4cb5550896" contentType="application/sdp;call-type=im" responseCode="500" requestType="INVITE"><diagHeader>1033;reason="Previous hop server component did not report diagnostic information";Domain="outlook.com";PeerServer="lync.bridge.messenger.live.com";source="federation.messenger.msn.com";OriginalPresenceState="0";CurrentPresenceState="0";MeInsideUser="No";ConversationInitiatedBy="6";SourceNetwork="5";RemotePartyCanDoIM="Yes"</diagHeader><progressReports/></error></reportError> Can someone please help, im at a loss as to what is causing this issue. The current Microsoft approved version according to Polycom is 5.9.0.9373 yet Microsoft is only pushing 5.8.0.12848. Is there a site that explains the provisioning model of this joint partnership (Polycom and Microsoft). Or is it best practice to just standup your own provisioning server and not rely on Microsoft to update? Thanks887Views0likes0CommentsVoicemail not being delivered from Phone System to Exchange 2013
Hi all, We've been piloting Phone System with Skype for Business Online. We set everything up for delivery of voicemail to our on-premises Exchange 2013 environment per the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/3195158/customer-issues-between-exum-and-azure-voicemail. This was working well up until around the middle of October, when we discovered voicemail was no longer being delivered. Today we finally identified that the system is attempting to deliver these messages through the SMTP fallback mechanism but are being blocked for spoofing because the From: address is using our domain. I've had our mail administrator whitelist the email address the system is using and these messages are being delivered now. However, due to the fact they are being delivered via SMTP they only show up in the Inbox, not in the SfB app or the Voicemail search folder in Outlook. Is direct depositing of voicemail messages in Exchange on-premises still working for anyone else?3.8KViews0likes4Comments
