Data Extraction and Manipulation
Right. So I have been trying to achieve the following; Extract Key Data from a structured PDF > Push this Key Data into a Word/Excel document I can get parts of this process to work. Copilot seems pretty good at extracting data from PDFs and Excel files etc, it will show me the correct data in the chat. BUT when I ask it to push this into a pre-existing word template it just doesnt work. The best result I had was when Copilot added the Key Data to the end of the Word doc. Not what I wanted but not a million miles off. Its also fine with putting this into a new word document. So it feels like Copilot has all the functionaility required but just wont combine this with using a pre-existing word/excel template. I even tried content control boxes. For some context, this sort of thing (basically copying pasting data from one doc to another) is incredibly time consuming and there is a LOT of this in my industry. Hoping that there is a way to achieve this, even if it means multiple steps etc! 🙃
Calling Copilot Studio Agent from custom M365 Copilot
Hi All! I am trying to use custom Copilot Studio Agent from custom Copilot for M365. I added Agent as a tool but when trying to test that in the conversation I receive error message: "Error Message: The connector 'Microsoft Copilot Studio' returned an HTTP error with code 400. Inner Error: Invalid request body Error Code: ConnectorRequestFailure Conversation Id: 832800f4-48fd-4ab4-a3e1-ec1f58f2b0c3 Time (UTC): 2025-11-18T19:40:16.710Z" It is happening even for 'empty' Copilot Studio Agents. I have all the required user licenses. Does anyone succeeded with that?

M365 Copilot Chat Works for Cloud-Only Students, Not for AD-Synced Accounts
I want to make M365 Copilot Chat accessible for our students (13+), and according to this article, I have prepared everything: My tenant is correctly classified as K12. The student account has the attribute ageGroup set to NotAdult in Entra ID. Unfortunately, this only works with student accounts that are cloud-only. When I synchronize a student from the on-premises AD to Entra ID and set the ageGroup attribute to NotAdult in Entra ID, access to Copilot Chat does not work. I currently have Copilot M365 license and restricted by the 8000 characters limit for providing instructions while creating my AI Agent. If I upgrade my license to Copilot Studio license, would it have the same 8000 characters limit for providing agent instructions? or there is a different limit?Cannot publish my agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot
When I clicked "See agent in Microsoft 365", it redirected to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/ When I clicked "Add", it was written "Something went wrong". Why is this happening? Am I missing something? Hello everyone, I've tried to use Copilot Notebooks for a few days now but I am not able to select files from my OneDrive. When I try to add a reference and then select OneDrive, the spinner appears and won't go away. When I select a file and want to select it then nothing happens. I also cannot close the pop-up through the "X" or "Cancel" button. I am using Edge with the most recent version but I've also tried it in incognito mode, without extensions and a fresh new chrome browser, as well as a different device with different browser and different internet access. I just cannot seem to get it working. Is it currently just not working for Personal plans?
Using Copilot for Outlook to provide meeting date options
Currently, a team member is tasked regularly with not only finding an open slot for several people during a specific period of time/dates, but that team member must also evaluate whether there are any internal meetings that could be moved to accommodate the meeting if no other options exist. Can Copilot do something like this yet? When I was playing around with the system, it didn't seem to be reading others' calendars well, even availability, much less knowing if their meeting was internal.
