Hi, Does anyone have any guides for creating Sankey Diagrams in Excel. I deal with the analysis of a reasonably long process which has various customer inputs and outcomes. I am looking for a visual way to show everyone who came into the process, and what happened to each person. Sankey Diagrams seem to fit that bill perfectly. Any help would be appreciated. My work runs about 200 events per year. These are listed in an excel spreadsheet. However they also have a word template which has the layout of an annual calendar. This means there are months across the top, and dates down the left hand side (like those big annual calendars you see on a noticeboard). Everytime they add an event or edit an event, it has to be done in the excel spreadsheet manually, and then go into the word spreadsheet manually. I am wondering if there is a way to update it in excel and it magically links to a template (or app) that has the look of a wall calendar. It seems there is a lot double handling and opportunity to make mistakes. Thanks Tammy190KViews0likes75CommentsColor coded dropdown lists
I'm usingMicrosoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2306 Build 16.0.16529.20226) 64-bit I have a status report for which I'd like to use a dropdown list for different statuses and have the associated colour in the cell where the status is selected. I am able to create the dropdown list and use it, just the colour coding doesn't come across with it. I have a file of the status report but can't see an option to attach it... Hi, First of all I am not at good at this but I looking for a way to use a button to reset all the filters I have. To use one button instead of clear all the filters separately would be great as it is more effcient. But as I wrote, I am not very good at this I was wondering if someone could show/teach me how to do it.80KViews0likes2Commentswhy text values are not converting to numbers

I consider myself a SharePoint geek, but I play more and more in the larger Office 365 (O365) sphere these days. In doing so, I’ve noticed that O365 as a concept is difficult to explain… both to IT folks and the everyday workers who are expected to use it. So I put together a new infographic that (hopefully) provides a quick intro to O365, its apps, and how they're all related. Good for both the IT crowd and lines of business. Check out my Periodic Table of Office 365below. Update (Dec 2017):The original infographic has been upgraded to being a fully dynamic, web-based tool complete with articles on many of the apps, more translations (7 languages as of today!), and more. It's embeddable too, which is what you see below. Embed it in your intranet or website today! Hi, I have a column, C, of the form: C6=IF(OR(A6="",B6=""),"",A6-B6) where A and B are columns with mostly numerical values but occasionally blanks. The formula, rather than a simple C=A-B, ensures C is also blank if either of A or B are blank. So my column C now has mostly numerical values but also some blanks. So when i look at Averages in the column the returned value is correct. HOWEVER, when i chart the row, all the blank cells appear as zero values in the chart. If I 'delete' the formula that gives the blank return, and therefore replace it with an empty (ie blank) cell then the chart treats it correctly as a gap. How do i get the chart to treat the blank (resulting from the formula) as a true blank (ie a gap in the chart)? Or do I need to change the formula?61KViews0likes5Commentshlookup help - structured reference
Hi there, So I am working on a problem where I am stumped with hlookup... the prompt asks me to: In cell E2, enter a formula using the HLOOKUP function as follows to determine a student's potential base hourly rate (which is based on the number of years of post-secondary education): a. Use a structured reference to look up the value in the Post-Secondary Years column. Retrieve the value in the 2nd row of the table in the range P13:U14, using an absolute reference. Because base hourly rate is tiered based on the number of years of education, find an approximate match. b. Fill the formula into the range E3:E31, if necessary. but when I complete the formula the result I get is #SPILL! really need some help on this issue! thxSolved59KViews0likes7Comments
