teams live event
12 TopicsTeams Live Event multiple presenters
Hello I need to produce a live event with 4 presenters. As a producer I thought I would be able to see each presenter's video and also their powerpoint presentation at the same time, i.e. they could all share their screens in the pre-live. I hoped to then be able to queue presenters and their powerpoints as needed. However, when the second presenter shares screen it fully replaces the first presenter's screen in the Live event - is there a way to avoid this? If I have multiple presenters do they have to share their own screen but only at the right time in the event, i.e. when the previous presenter has finished?? Hi! I am super happy with the implementation of NDI in Teams, it's a great way to amp up production quality. Now in one case, we are having more than 20 active participants/panelists. Will it be possible to use the NDI stream output for the Live Events as well? The Live Events producer lacks some settings, I'm not 100% sure if that is due to admin policy or just me looking in the wrong place. For example I haven't found the option to host a Q&A or vote in the Producer View. The idea is to invite 22 people as contributors in the Live Event, capture their camera input and display them on a large video wall for the local participants. Best case Scenario would be using NDI for independent outputs. Worst case: I need to stream the main event screen to said video wall. But I would really like the large wall to be filled with all participants. The up and downstream capacity should not be an issue, since we're well connected. Thanks!Solved12KViews1like8CommentsWays to ignore Chat and notification sound during Teams live event
Hello Everyone, I know many of you are already hosting Teams live events but might have heard different types of notifications sounds during the live events. This can very be distracting, unprofessional or disturbing. Please find some important ways to ignore these dings and pings sound during the event: 1. Go to the settings of your Teams Client and choose your status to DND (Do not disturb), by doing that you will not hear any ping sound while receiving any message , though you will be receiving all the messages from others but silently. Checkout the below screenshot as a reference : 2. Second way , If you go the right bottom corner of your system's task bar and hit the notification center and click on the below icon shown in the screenshot and set it to PRIORITY only , you could actually avoid the unexpected sounds from your system during the event : 3. And the last way would be , go to the start menu of your windows and type FOCUS ASSIST , open the setting and choose PRIORITY ONLY I hope this will help you to produce the events more efficiently. Hi, I have run several Teams Live Events but have experienced a number of instances where the presenter is unable to join. They click on the Purple 'Join Live Event' link and automatically join as an attendee (with no option to present). All they see is the message 'This Live Event hasn't started yet'. I know in the past we have had firewall issues with some of our presenters which can only be helped by their IT. However, I have a presenter who is using their home office, personal email address & device, AND accessing via the Teams App and she is still automatically joining as an attendee when she clicks on the Purple 'Join Live Event' link (no option to present). I can't see what would be stopping her from joining as a Presenter. Would you be able to advise how we get around this? TIA! I have set up a policy and activated it with a couple of my users, but they do not get the option to schedule a live event in the client application. Any help would be greatly appreciatedSolved1.7KViews0likes2CommentsTeams Townhall Meeting - meeting quality stats for attendees
Yesterday we produced a CEO townhall meeting with around 75 attendees. The connection details of the event team are visible within the Teams admin center, but what about the attendees. The webcam and a powerpoint presentation were shared. Actually a lot of them complaint about the bad screen sharing quality of the presentation. We got a couple of screenshots from the attendees and some presentations are almost no longer readable. How can the quality differ from one attendee to another? How can we check and monitor the quality of the attendees after the meeting?1.7KViews2likes1CommentUnable to activate Production tools setting and download link no working
In new Teams it is not possible to enable Production tools setting although I have the policy to allow NDI (and have had for a long time). I get an error stating "Production tools are not supported." The download link for NDI binaries is also not working. Nothing happens when clinking the link. This is all running on a normal PC laptop with Win10. Working in classic Teams. Anyone else with the similar issue?1.3KViews1like2Comments
