Teams Live event was "Live" but some of my users are stuck on a black screen

We experienced joining a live event in teams the desktop application that just showed a black screen. We knew that the event was proceeding because other colleagues were able to view the live event. Some screens were just stuck in black. 

Anybody else have experienced this?
