It took some digging, but for those of you who are unable to find your Teams Meeting videos in your Stream (where they have been stored previously), it turns out that MS is phasing in a process of those videos now being stored in either your One Drive for Business or your Sharepoint. This started happening at the beginning of the year. I'm sure your IT department was alerted, but you may not have gotten the memo. If you're looking for your video, check your Teams chat log. There may be a listing titled the same as the name of your meeting. The video is there! So your videos aren't lost... they're just stored in a new place. Here's where I found the answer: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/tmr-meeting-recording-changeSharePoint or Stream - Option that allows content to be downloaded by all company employees
Good afternoon to everyone. My name is Leonardo Fonseca and I currently work as an administrator in a company located in Brazil. We are trying to find permission to allow the download of all files from my company's employees. Where can we find this option or police? Thanks.Stream Usage details in Admin
Hello We have using current classic Stream service (store old Video on Stream for new we use SharePoint/OneDrive) and on last week I found that admin panel show capacity included SharePoint Storage Stream 500 Mb + 0.5 Per User + SharePoint = Is it correct new Policy for calculation ? Thanks DimaHow and where are long-term use training videos to be stored in the New Stream?
I have training and certification videos that need to remain available for an indefinite length of time and is not to be associated with any particular TEAM or SPO site. Classic Stream has served us well for this purpose by allowing a video to be shared with everyone and not designated/stored in a specific 'workspace' other than Stream itself. My understanding is that recordings created after deploying the New Stream must be associated with/stored in an SPO website or ODB and will have an automatic delete/archive setting of x days (60, 90, ?) applied to it whether we want it or not unless we go through some sort of labeling and compliance admin setup on the tenant level. If this is true, it is unrealistic and not meeting the needs of all Stream users. While being able to store Stream videos in SPO and ODB is a good thing, stripping Stream of the ability to store videos and maintain them separately from SPO and ODB is also a good and needed feature, especially in the education world where lesson plans and resources are used from year to year and for multiple/different classes (i.e. TEAMS, SPO sites). Long-term storage without a designated time period or location outside of Stream must continue to be available. Am I misunderstanding the features and functions that are/remain available when the New Stream is enabled? If I am not, what is the solution for this use case? Clearly, I need it FAST since New Stream is being forced on us.Access all Stream recordings (public and private) owned by deleted users
We are looking to get a list of all the videos, including private videos, that are owned by users that have been deleted. That way we can access them and reassign them to an active user in the company, or at least provide a link to them. I've found the settings to export specific user data to HTML in the Admin settings, but it only allows you to search through users who are still active in the organization, and does not include the users who have been deleted. I suppose what we are trying to do is to get a list of all recordings stored in the 'General Bucket' mentioned in this Help Doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/stream/managing-deleted-users Is this something that is possible?Storage location of Microsoft Teams meeting during recording before transfered to Microsoft Stream
Where is the video data stored during a Microsoft Teams Meeting recording before it is stored in my Microsoft Stream? When I start my recording of a Teams Meeting, Microsoft caches the recorded video bytes. I can not find any description, where? I a hidden Azure Blob Storage in my tenant or somewhere at Microsoft? Does anyone have a reference that says how it works technically?Solved
