sharepoint

My organization has Exchange 2019 (on-prem) and SharePoint Subscription Edition (on-prem). I've setup the outgoing mail in Central Administration (SharePoint) and tested through PowerShell. If I send an email to an internal address (in the domain) it goes through, but if I try and send it to an external address it fails. When I check the message logs in Exchange I only see the emails sent to the internal addresses and nothing for the external emails (for the test messages only - I do see emails from my co-workers that are sent to external emails). Currently the only solution that is working is if we create an Open External Relay in the accepted domains section of Exchange admin center, but I do not want to do that. Any thoughts on how I can get this to work? I feel like I missing something simple.1.1KViews0likes2CommentsOffice 365 Email / SharePoint Audit Logs
Hi We have a client who is looking for reports on a specific user who is leaving the company. They'd like to find out if there are any emails this person sent with attachments to external parties. Is there a way for me to search the audit logs for emails containing attachments? We then also ran an audit log on SharePoint files but can't seem to get it right. We need to be able to see if this person downloaded, deleted, or moved data from his machine offsite or from SharePoint. We'd like to be able to see on which device (laptop / SharePoint online). I'm open to suggestions on doing this via the admin portal or on PowerShell. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,1.4KViews0likes2Comments
