Hi Assuming I have NOT setup manager or secondary admin - I have deleted a user from Office356 and the retention period isn't expired. How can I access "configuration" of the OneDrive, and add an Owner of the OneDrive so I can access it and view data? I would have thought that I could find it in the "Manage User Profiles" in SharePoint Admin Center but the user doesn't show up when searching. Hi team, As I am going through a different type of newly available site collection template in Office 365 Which is only available for global administrator user. I have also searched on MSDN and Sharepoint blog but didn't found any document regarding the purpose of this template and what will be target audience where this site template best fits. It looks likes Microsoft have accidentally added this template or may be hidden feature which is not documented yet. Who knows !! I have attached screenshot of location of where we find Review Center template If Anyone knows about this template please let us know. Thanksprevent storing O365 account credentials in W10
When a user opens a Document, he gets the option offered to store the credentials in W10 (to be created under 'settings-accounts-access work or school'). I have attached the userinput request window as attachement (sorry, in Dutch, but the window is recognisable). We have found that inspite of using MFA for loggin in to the portal, accepting this offer releases the user from ever being asked for a MFA again when opening local APPS like Word and accessing Sharepoint based documents. Is there a way to prevent the user from being asked to store the credentials in W10 from Office365? I do not have any management access to the users device.2.9KViews1like1CommentHow to stop automatic updates in O365 - SharePoint Online
Hi, I have similar problem like described in 2015 in post https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/how-to-stop-automatic-updates-in-o365-sharepoint/4f1fdea0-af6f-4aed-8b54-756896a31d02 We have some nicely branded portal based on SharePoint Online modern pages. Unfortunately after automatic changes made by Microsoft our layout sometimes crashes. To prevent that we would like to have 2 tenants. First for testing/development with updates on and second with stopped/delayed updates so we won't be surprised by weird layout in production environment. On our portal we have some css injected on our site using SPO applications added to sites. We haven't found any better solution for custom branding in modern sites. Is it possible to use master pages on modern sites? Any information on how to stop updates or how to change look and feel of our SPO portal is welcome. And by changing look and feel i don't mean standard function because there isn't much one can do.2.8KViews0likes3CommentsSharePoint Online Quick Links error
I am using SharePoint Online 2019, and for a page we have the out of the box web part "Quick Links" with different icons going to different pages. The icons are not showing up, however. When I go into edit the webpart, it looks fine. However, when I publish it, it looks completely different. I'll attach 2 pictures. One in edit mode, one in publish mode. This just happened today. About a month ago a similar issue happened out of the blue, but a few days later it miraculously fixed itself.2.4KViews1like1CommentOneDrive for Business contents will be preserved for 300 days
Dear Team, how do I access this below user one drive. USER account has been deleted from the Active Directory. Their OneDrive for Business will be preserved for 300 days. You're the temporary owner of all documents saved to their OneDrive for Business. If you would like to save content beyond the 300 day retention period, you can copy important documents to another location. You can also contact your administrator to reassign ownership to another OneDrive for Business owner. After 300 days, OneDrive for Business will be permanently deleted. Go to USER OneDrive for Business at Regards Niket R1.8KViews0likes4CommentsCannot create Information Barrier Policy
Hi, I have created two segments within Information Barriers in Microsoft Purview. I have then tried to create a Policy that blocks one segment from the other using both the UI and PowerShell, but I get the same error every time. "Could not run the command New-InformationBarrierPolicy. Cause of the problem: The parameter(s) ModerationAllowed of the cmdlet New-ExoInformationBarrierPolicy is not allowed for the app 00000007-0000-0ff1-ce00-000000000000" Am I missing something? Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just me? Right now, I can create many policies at all.Solved1.7KViews0likes4CommentsOffice 365 - Username in usage reports is incomprehensible

Hello, my problem is that if you follow the URL (created by system account): "https://companynamexyz.sharepoint.com" (Page A) via mobil, as a normal user you will end on: "https://companynamexyz.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/touchapp.aspx?Mode=TeamSite&Page=ListOfApps&Path=" (Page B) But I want to redirect the User to our original Intranet Homepage. (Page C) So I managed to at a webpart script and redirect the User if they open Page A on a Computer. Unfortunately this doesn't work for mobil devices. Page C is already set as Homepage. I can't edit Page A in Admin-Center. Is there a different way to successfully end on Page C if you open Page A on any device? Thank you in advance. Hello As part of a pilot for rolling out the use of Teams, we created a number of channels. People seem to be generally happy with how it's going but what we'd like to do is rename some of the channels (some of the names were placeholders). Is there a way to change the name of the associated parts of Sharepoint, it seems that if you change the channel name in Teams, it retains the original name in Sharepoint which is potentially quite confusing. Or do we need to suck it up and set things up from scratch? Thanks ChrisSolved1.1KViews1like1Comment
