We use a number of embedded forms on our SharePoint site. Since a recent update these are not displaying the correct colour theming; instead a colour overlay has made the intro section almost impossible to read. Is anyone experiencing a similar issue and/or knows of a fix?2.9KViews2likes2CommentsForms on Sharepoint have missing questions
I created an MS Form that has about 15 questions. They're a mix of choice and text, and the last one being an 'Upload a file' question. I've integrated the Forms onto a SharePoint site (Comms site) that I created and it looks perfect for me but not for my colleagues. It would have missing questions and the questions would be shuffled. I have checked to see if 'Shuffle Questions' were ticked within the Settings of the Form and it wasn't. Sharing the Form directly through the URL was not a problem either. It was only a problem that is faced by my colleagues when they view the Form through my SharePoint Site even after giving them 'Full Control' of the site and putting the Form under Group Forms where me and my colleague are both in.2.8KViews2likes6CommentsSupport Needed: Form Web Part Starts with Wrong Question
Dear All, My colleague, Julia, had warned me that, she couldn't start from the first question on our Forms. As you would see from the attached, whenever she opens the SharePoint site, she faces with Question number 35!! Whenever I open it, I see it normally, my Forms starts with the first question as you would also see attached. We deleted cookies, browser history. We tried different browsers. Also we have asked another colleague to check, he has the same problem, he sees the Question Number 35. As this tool is the frond end of a customer solution, any kind of advise or support would be highly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from anyone of you! Dear Community, Previously, an MS Form created by a past intern was lost when he left the company because he was the sole owner. To prevent this from happening again, I would appreciate if you could help with some clarification on a few points: Ownership I understand that, to avoid this mistake, ownership has to be shared and sharing or allocating the MS Form within a Teams Channel can help prevent ownership issues. Am I correct? Would the same approach work if the form was shared within a SharePoint or another platform? Is there a recommended best practice for this? Roles and Permissions How can I ensure that certain individuals are designated as owners (with editing and viewing rights), while others are restricted to only filling out the form without accessing submitted responses? Continuous Access and Updates for Submitters Is it possible for individuals who fill out a form to retain a copy of their submission and have the ability to update it later? If so, how can this be configured? Not sure if these are easy tasks, I came across multiple opinions and techniques online but it's still confusing. Thank you in advance for your assistance!208Views1like1CommentFind Forms on Sharepoint
Hi I created a form in forms.office.com while I was learning. I have now moved this form to a sharepoint group. In the sharepoint document library, we can see the response excel, and the folders for the submitted attachments.. however we cannot see the actual form. How does a team member find the form so they can open it and edit it if needed? Thanks DanyS543Views1like1CommentAttachment Column from List not showing up in Forms
I am trying to build a List to feed my forms, and I'm hoping to allow those who fill out the form to be able to add an attachment. Is this possible? I was able to add an attachments column in my list, but it's not showing up as a field option when I create the form.4.5KViews1like9CommentsRemoving characters from questions uploaded to a SharePoint list
Hi, Is there way to remove the [" "] characters that surround an answer to questions that are on Forms when n they are submitted and uploaded to SharePoint The reason I'm asking is when I create a PowerApp with a filter function and to try and eliminate Delegation warning, I use StartsWith. I have to put a hint text to prefix every search with [" Any idea how if this can be removed or how to deal with it from a PowerApp side??593Views1like1CommentWhere can I edit the data link between a Form and Excel
I want to create a form to write to a specific Excel file so I create it using the add option from a sharepoint documents page This creates the form in shared forms for the group and the corresponding excel file There is then a persistent link between these two items even if both are renamed I want to create the form as a template and then create multiple copies in local languages, all writing separate excel files to the same location Copying the template form in MS forms>group forms creates a new excel file on the sharepoint site So I have what I want in essence but to my question, where can I find the data link between form and excel file and potentially edit it? For instance, should I want to change the excel file location. I am aware I can use a work round using MS flow but I want to keep it simple Thanks for any help2.6KViews1like0CommentsSharePoint List embedded with Microsoft Forms
I'm fairly confident this is not an option. But wanted some community input on the matter. When creating a Microsoft Form I would like to use an already existing SharePoint List as a dropdown box as potential answers to a question. I can see a lot of potential uses internally for something like this. My current workaround is to ask people to provide the unique title for the SharePoint list item, which works. But it would be nice to allow people not to have to look that up and be able to load a list of options from a specific SharePoint list. The best example I can give is a Manager Filling out a form as it pertains to one of their employees. Right now I ask the manager in a text box to provide me with the employee ID. It would make more sense if I could use a dropdown list with all the employees they managed already listed.Solved13KViews1like1CommentNew > Forms for Excel functionality
Dear all, I have realised the MS Forms for Excel functionality is present for both Teams and for new O365 groups creation (Teams automatically creates a group when a new team is created) only. Please can someone from Microsoft advise when this function will become available into a standard SharePoint online environment too? Thank you, Mark490Views1like0Comments
