Planner Tasks from Project for the web installed in another environment
Hello, We have a Project for the Web (planner Premium) instance running in a different environment. This environment is for our IT projects. Unfortunately, the tasks assigned there are not displayed in the Planner app in Teams. As it stands, only tasks created in the standard environment are synchronized. Does anyone know whether it is possible to set that tasks from another environment are also taken into account? How to activate Assigned to me in Project for the Web (Preview)?
I see that the Assigned to Me feature for Project for the Web is still in Preview with an expected general availability in August. We are trying to activate the feature in Preview, but we can’t find it. Which admin center or portal should we be checking? Project for the Web, Project Accelerator and Teams
Good Afternoon all, First time poster and great to be here. I am the head of Programmes and Projects for a SME and I have implemented Project for the Web and the Project Accelerator to great effect across my organisation. A client has asked us to implement for them however, due to the complexity of their organisation they have multiple, separate "organisations" under a single tenant (not for discussion here ). Due to this segregation, We have had to install a dedicated instance of Project for the Web and the Accelerator in a dedicated Power App environment (Not Default). The issue we now have is that we cannot integrate Project for the Web with Teams Channels and by extension, implement tasks directly to Engineering Team Planners. While the accelerator continues to provide great project and reporting solution, the lack of integration with Teams seriously reduces its effectiveness as a collaboration tool. Research to date indicates that only Project for the Web installed in the default instance (not best practice) will integrate with Microsoft teams. I post this out of hope than expectation however, can anybody out there in the community advise whether they have successfully resolved this challenge? I look forward to your responses.
Font to "Finish" tab becomes white on Project for the web
This is something I noticed very recently on Project For The Web. I noticed that dates on my Finish column becomes white if the task is not marked100% complete. The date becomes visible again once the task is marked completed. (see below) Anyone has any idea on how to fix this? Would definitely need to see the finish dates of my incomplete tasks!
Project for the Web start and end times
We have a business requirement to set start and end times (or could be start time and duration) for tasks. During a go-live, we plan tasks to the 15 minute increment. For example, we need to specify that Task1 starts at 9:00, Task 2 at 9:15, Task 3 at 9:30, task 4 at 10:15, etc. I feel like there should be Start/End DateTime field types, but cannot find such a thing. Thoughts?How to delete/remove Team Member from a Project in Project for the Web?
Hello, We're using the Project for the Web accelerator Power App. A bookable resource can be added directly to a Project via the Project's Resources tab or if they're assigned to a Task. When they are added to a Project, they will show up under the Resources tab as a "Team Member" (in the "Project Team Members"/"msdyn_projectteam" table). However, when I try to Delete them from the Project's Resource tab, I get the following error: If I delete all of their Tasks or unassign them from all Tasks, they still show as a Team Member under the Resources table and still cannot be deleted. How can we delete a Team Member from a Project within P4W? Thanks, Adil
