Has anyone else hit this with Teams webinars? Microsoft recently changed how webinar emails are sent, and the sender name now seems to come from the tenant Organisation Name. You can change that in M365 admin, but that’s where the problem starts. In a lot of companies, the organisation name is a legal/billing entity, not the public-facing brand. Example: Legal / tenant name: FedEx Corporate Services, Inc. Brand: FedEx Teams webinar emails now go out showing the legal entity, which isn’t great for external, customer-facing events. Changing the org name just to fix webinar emails can have knock-on effects for billing, contracts, and governance. As far as I can see: No way to set a brand-specific sender name No per-webinar or per-mailbox sender identity Org name is global and used across multiple services The only real workaround seems to be not using Teams-generated emails at all, and sending custom emails via Power Automate / Graph / a marketing platform, while still using Teams for the actual event. Curious how others are dealing with this: Are you just living with it? Changing the org name with legal sign-off? Or bypassing Teams emails completely? Feels like a gap for larger, multi-brand orgs.53Views0likes0CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!31KViews2likes40CommentsPlease tell me how to disable the Pin Copilot message

As now, It seems Microsoft teams on MacOS does not support RTL languages when texts are being typed. This makes bad feeling when users want to read the text they've typed. The issue becomes worst when the text contains English phrase (when the message is sent) As far as I remember, Skype did support RTL languages when the texts are being typed.238Views14likes2CommentsFeature request: 2D virtual spaces
The immersive space with 3D avatars feature is a nice idea, but not everyone has the hardware to support this feature and the use of 3D spaces places a significant limit on the number of attendees. I would like to see MS teams consider implementing a simpler option, whereby a 2D office space, with simple icon-type avatars (circles with the usual profile pic) is used instead. These icons could be moved around the 2D space with mouse (click and drag) or keyboard controls, and when your icon is in close proximity to other icons, those users can be heard - ideally with a proximity volume adjustment calculated (the closer you are the louder those around you are). This would be a significant feature and allow a more expansive range of uses and utility to the MS teams platform as a remote working tool without placing a burden on end users hardware. This would allow the solution to be used in the background as a virtual office space in support of remote and hybrid working, or for distributed teams.44Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Teams Timer for Recurring Meetings
Hi MSFT folks, Any chance we could have this amazing new functionality included as part of the default setup in recurring meetings, please? Ideally, not having to activate it every time could make our lives simpler. https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=494842 Thank you for the feedback. https://dimitripletschette.com/60Views0likes0CommentsTeams SMS Campaign Approval
Our use case is strictly for receiving inbound notifications. We do not send any outbound messages. As we won't be using the SMS feature to contact individuals directly. Is there any way to get approved without fulfilling requirements that don't apply to our specific use case like the Call-To-Action and SMS Terms and Condition?185Views0likes1Comment
