The immersive space with 3D avatars feature is a nice idea, but not everyone has the hardware to support this feature and the use of 3D spaces places a significant limit on the number of attendees. I would like to see MS teams consider implementing a simpler option, whereby a 2D office space, with simple icon-type avatars (circles with the usual profile pic) is used instead. These icons could be moved around the 2D space with mouse (click and drag) or keyboard controls, and when your icon is in close proximity to other icons, those users can be heard - ideally with a proximity volume adjustment calculated (the closer you are the louder those around you are). This would be a significant feature and allow a more expansive range of uses and utility to the MS teams platform as a remote working tool without placing a burden on end users hardware. This would allow the solution to be used in the background as a virtual office space in support of remote and hybrid working, or for distributed teams.12Views0likes0CommentsUnable to remove old account sing up form Teams on Mac OS
I cannot remove an old sing account from Teams on Mac OS. I have to delete the keychain, I delete the temp folder, and remove and reinstall Teams, and the old account is still there. I have a case open with the Microsoft team, and they cannot figure it out. Where is the login info store, and why has Microsoft not provided a solution where users can remove accounts as easily as they can add? Please help!27KViews2likes36CommentsMicrosoft Teams Timer for Recurring Meetings
Hi MSFT folks, Any chance we could have this amazing new functionality included as part of the default setup in recurring meetings, please? Ideally, not having to activate it every time could make our lives simpler. https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=494842 Thank you for the feedback. https://dimitripletschette.com/35Views0likes0CommentsTeams SMS Campaign Approval
Our use case is strictly for receiving inbound notifications. We do not send any outbound messages. As we won't be using the SMS feature to contact individuals directly. Is there any way to get approved without fulfilling requirements that don't apply to our specific use case like the Call-To-Action and SMS Terms and Condition?69Views0likes1Comment[REQUEST]
Is there any foreseen capabilities in Team's channel which could act as a forum ? So, create a Forum channel type would be perfect, and here is why: 1. Within Teams, it is commonly to find use-cases where a community drops some issues, questions and so on, and being able to : - pin discussions/communications - set tags and filter them - Mark as solved (which may help others, and save ans best answer) sort based on people following would be a perfect integrations. looking forward to see the answers.97Views1like3CommentsWeird Teams product design
I just noticed that Teams does not allow users to delete the messages sent by others, but only allows users to delete the messages sent by themselves. This is different from a lot of IM software, e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, and WeChat. However, Teams allow users to delete the whole conversation history with other users, which definitely contains the messages sent by others.33Views0likes1CommentHow To Add Co Organizers To A Microsoft Teams Meeting
This Microsoft Teams tutorial will demonstrate https://youtu.be/KyFv11tDef8. Co-organizers have elevated permissions in Teams meetings such that they can do the following: Access the meeting options to implement changes such as who can present, who can bypass the lobby etc. Bypass the meeting lobby Admit participants from the lobby Lock and unlock the meeting Mute & unmute other participants Promote and demote other participants to presenter and guest Co-organizers cannot do the following things: Change the date-time of the meeting (only the organizer can) Access and manage meeting recordings Access or download meeting attendance reports What are your thoughts about this feature?8.4KViews0likes10CommentsAllow group based channel sharing - e.g. everyone
I've always wondered about having a tenant-wide "get in touch" channel for our team, so that colleagues outside our team can chat with the team directly without having to get membership/invited. It seems silly that teams aren't encouraged to talk to each other. This could be achieved by creating a shared channel, and sharing it with the "everyone" group (or another group / team). This would then appear in everyone's teams/channel list without needing to follow an invite process. Having to add members individually to each tenant-wide channel is just too much administrative overhead. Having a user-badge to identify "official" in-team members in a conversation would be useful (although most people know each other). Is there any way of doing this, or is this simply not possible?65Views0likes1CommentWhich Teams to remove?
I had 3 types of Teams installed, I'm experiencing issues and confusion, so I want to get rid of the unneccesary bulk. Already removed Teams "personal". Now I have these two left. Classic is nearing end of life, right? So I assume the other one is the "new" Teams which I should keep? The dates shown here confuse me though. Did "classic" receive a recent update, while "Teams" did not? I work with both a private and changing business accounts (from clients I work for). TIA205Views0likes1Comment
