Centering Pages in Modern Experience
Hello all, I'm having some trouble searching for a way to center a master page or a modern experience page in SharePoint. There is so much space on the right and I'd like to have it centered rather than have everything all to the left. PS. I removed the current nav on the left (which is what I prefer) Anyone know how I can make everything on my site centered? Thanks!Modern Events Categories
I have a page where I want to add events that users can see and join. In my company, these events have two categories and I want users to filter only by these two categories (by Category, I mean the option available when adding new event https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-the-events-web-part-5fe4da93-5fa9-4695-b1ee-b0ae4c981909#bkmk_addevent). However, SharePoint provides a bunch of default categories (e.g. Gift, Anniversary, Work hours, etc.) that the user can select from and which I do not want (see below). Is there any way to remove them and keep only my desired categories? Please note that I found a thread that seems possibly to address the same problem (see here). However, the suggestions given require changing lists through Page Properties, an option which I don't seem to have in the first place (see below)! Please help 🙏 Thanks Beshr
Issue scroll pages
Hello, I have an issue scrolling some pages with updated Dev and Canary channel: on some pages, for example on this site, if I scroll, about mid of the page remain blank while the data scrolls in the other mid page; when it arrives at mid of the screen and I try to go down, the blank space go down. I attached some screenshots; the issue seems random; I experienced it on this site, Amazon and Coursera. Marco
SharePoint Modern Page custom column layouts
Hello, I need to build the following layouts (4-column content and Org Chart / Structure) in SharePoint Modern Page but am having trouble determining which tools to use. 4-column Content: Org Chart: The current problem I have is that the columns for the page layout currently is set max at 3. For the Org Chart, the layout is giving me problems as well since the image of each person is parallel to their name and position (I thought the Text editor webpart would be able to handle it but it doesn't allow images there). Please help guide me what tools I can use or what I can do to replicate the contents from above. For the Org Chart, it doesn't necessarily have to be the same layout as above but at least something to display Org Structure and Employee Details.QR generator in Edge Canary is finally producing results
Enabled using this flag: edge://flags/ Enable sharing page via QR Code Enables right-click UI to share the page's URL via a generated QR Code. – Mac, Windows #sharing-qr-code-generator the flag has been there for a long time but only since Edge Version 82.0.451.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) it started showing results. though when I scan it with my QR reader on phone I can't get any links. Suggestion (SS): 27 Classification: TAB - SETTING PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 7 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) First add a quick way to switch between download / extension / bookmarks / history in the style of brave but maybe more compact Maybe add custom option too, so that i can add edge://settings/searchEngines?search=google to this list too, or edge://settings/downloads or ... or easy access to flags <<<<<<<<<<<< Second you should improve this mean if i click cmd, alt or ctrl you do specific things: example: open in incognito with ctrl and + open home page with alt show a list of top pages if i click cmd + (example pubmed, google images and ebay.ch). then i can choose which of these three. this is like having 4 different home webpages. or you can even add the way "if i click alt you open a new tab with the edge profile xxx" (even if i'm using yyy now). Or the same, but you show us the list of accounts (like i wrote in 3), so we can choose and we don't configure "open new tab in edge account xx with alt and +" here an example of what i mean, from czech devs. now i haven't checked all other browser. i just tried some random browser on my mac to see if someone integrate it, and the first random browser that i launched has this feature available (just a bit limited) <<<<< another option is to open a tab to the left if we click shift and + other example for smart +: open in new group open next to the current tab (but is better to integrate a whole option for this) open in new window duplicate all tabs from the current group you use to another group open a group of tabs at the same time (same like 3. but by using specific groups that we can configure). maybe without need to add a specific setting where we define the links, but just an option in bookmarks. so an option "add this folder in new tab smart group". then we can add 5-10 folders. reopen last closed tab <<<<< just another thing i noticed now seznam home button is cool, is not the classical home button like all other browser have.... PS: not important for me (at the end there is no improvement in my workflow), but maybe for someone else such smart features with cmd etc. can be applied to too, where you show us different websites (like i wrote in 3. ) <<<<<< NEW SUGGESTION: you can even add this smart button to so with ctrl (or other keys) and < we go back to the first page we opened (not only the previous). or you can use cmd < to go to the tab to the left and cmd > to go to the tab to the right.What happened to the "Fit to Page" option v90 was supposed to introduce?
According to the official "What's Next in Microsoft Edge" page it says version 90, the stable-branch one just rolling out now worldwide, is supposed to introduce a "Fit to Page" option when printing. Yet no-matter which printer I select (either a physical, local, USB printer; or one of the preinstalled virtual printers) I cannot find such an option. Is this one of those A/B testing things where not everyone gets it yet?Problem with Bing Insiders page
I'm pretty sure I was a Bing insider, too. but now I get this, been like this for the past few weeks. I also experience some new features time to time on different devices or with different VPNs (IPs). like I once had the ability for a short period of time to set "themes" for Bing, like Minecraft theme. it was a small background behind the "Microsoft Bing" logo at the top left. I had other short-term features too, such as seeing a "Secure" tag next to all HTTPS websites in Bing search results. i really liked it but it's gone now.
