outlook web app

I use the Outlook Web App for the work email. Like many others I've been trying to get used to the clunky new user interface that was introduced this year. Issue: folder pane along the side of the window is "hidden" by default. I change it to "show" but the second I close the browser and reopen it later it is hidden again. This is driving me insane because I drag/drop emails into folders to keep my inbox clean and up to date. Browser: I'm using Chrome, but when I open it in Edge this also happens. Troubleshooting I've done: I have logged out of the account and back into it. I have cleared the cache/cookies on my browser and then logged back into the account. I've scrolled through all the settings in "advanced settings" looking for anything that might fix this layout issue and I just can't find anything. I do not use outlook desktop app because it is laggy and prone to crashing. This is frustrating to me because I can usually figure out how to make outlook work like I need it to, but since the OWA update, so many options are either completely gone, or there is a ridiculously circuitous route to get to them now. What needs to be done to operate Outlook Web App (OWA) On-Premise without cloud integration? It seems some people have asked this question for years but never got an answer. Note that 'style-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'default-src' is used as a fallback.3.5KViews0likes0CommentsTasks added via Outlook web aren't showing up in To Do web
When I drag an email into the To Do bar on the right ("Add as a Task" area), it appears in the list of tasks. (I typically then edit the title of the task.) It stays there in Outlook, but if I open To Do, the task doesn't appear in my task list. I've tried opening and closing the To Do tab, but nothing seems to help. I am using Outlook and To Do web versions (in Chrome). Is this an issue for anyone else? I need to see the task in the To Do tab so I can add information or change other properties that aren't available via the Outlook's To Do bar.Solved1.5KViews0likes1CommentMacOS & Windows Outlook App dissimilar experience - Credential Caching
MacOS with the Edge Outlook App seems to have a different user experience when opening the app than that of a PC user. On PC, I just open the app. No password prompt as the credentials are cached. With a MacOS, it seems it isn't the same user experience with the MacOS asking for a login every time I open the Edge App for Outlook. Any reason these two apps have such as different user experience? It would be great in the MacOS for users to not get prompted when they open that Edge Outlook App.490Views0likes0Comments
