Institution verification blocked by AVE, and support case form is failing
Hello, I am unable to complete institution verification for Microsoft Learn for Educators, and both documented support channels are currently failing for me. What is happening: 1. My institution verification was rejected with a "Blocked" response from AVE. 2. The in-portal Create a Case form returns "An error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again later" every time I submit, so I cannot raise a ticket through the documented route. I understand at least one other educator has reported this same combination recently, so I am writing directly in the hope this can be routed manually. I believe the AVE block is because our institutional domain is pathfinderfoundation.co.in rather than a .edu or .ac.in domain. In India, a large proportion of accredited private higher education institutions operate on .co.in and .org domains, so the suffix is not an indicator of accreditation status here. MSLE: verification link expired, institution address validation also fails (UNYT)
I am registering as an Individual Educator in Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) for University of New York Tirana, Albania. Timeline: Completed initial profile with institution email ******@unyt.edu.al Institution address field consistently rejected with this exact error: "Please enter proper address as the Address is incorrect or the Address was not able to be sent through the validation process." I tried multiple verified address formats for the institution, including: "Ish-shkolla e mesme elektrike, Rruga e Kavajës, pranë 21 Dhjetorit (Sheshi Ataturk), Tiranë" (official registered address) "Rruga e Kavajës, Tiranë 1000" "21 Dhjetori, Tirana" "Rruga Kavajes" (without Albanian diacritics, in case of character encoding issues) All combinations were tried with City: Tirana, Country: Albania, Zip code: both 1000 and 1001 - all rejected with the same error. Institution verification form will not allow me to add Address
I work for an academy trust and have tried using my Trust address and one of the schools I'm based at address. Trying to get this set up so I can show my team these courses and allow them to access the learning as well, but I don't want it to be this difficult. Folks, I hope you're well. Its been a while (10 years precisely) since I last had my MCT credentials. I took a different learning path and pursued my PhD and meanwhile a lot has changed. The old transcripts, badges, certifications are gone The old portal is gone, and despite trying everything that I could possibly think of, I am unable to get my old credentials on the new portal (although all of my certifications are expired, but having no record of them means my profile appears as that of a beginner). Obviously, Access to MCT and LDC is gone. However, recently I decided to get my MCT renewed, and of course for that I must offer the course as per the requirement. One of my colleagues got our university registered as the Microsoft Academy and I am added as an Instructor (profile verified already). Now, the portal allows me to register for the course ( Develop Generative AI Solutions with Azure OpenAI Service, AI-050) that I am planning to offer in the upcoming quarter), but unfortunately, I have no access to MCT Portal (very obvious) and even to Learning Download Center (which is concerning, since I'm a verified instructor, and need the official resources to prepare and deliver). Institution Verification was rejected because of "Blocked" response from AVE
I applied with my personal email for the MS Learn for Educators program. I am a professor at Bridgewater College in Virginia. I gave my school email (.edu), and received the message "Unable to open a case to address error: Institution Verification was rejected because of "Blocked" response from AVE". I tried to open a case to report the issue and received the message: "An error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again later" This has been happening for several days. We just recently signed up for Microsoft Learn for Educators. There is some confusion on how we are supposed to use the platform to deliver course content to our students. How do you deliver AZ-900? For example we are a community college and lets say we have a course called VIR-100 (intro to cloud) and we utilize an LMS Moodle. Do the students use Microsoft learn to complete the training or do we somehow integrate it with our LMS? How do you register students for a course you are teaching such as AZ-900? How do you grade the assignments? Or are you doing this by creating a mirrored assignment in the LMS and grading it there? How do we view students in our online course if using Microsoft Learn?
