M365 Group, Teams-enabled, one member is a Guest User. The team is in my org, not hers. If I create a meeting invitation from within Teams, she (the Guest User) is not recognized and not allowed as a task assignee; she does not have access to the agenda or notes, which appear to Loop components; and does not have access to the meeting notes during a Teams meeting. Why? What permissions are interfering? If she's a member of the Group, she has edit permissions in SharePoint.Solved129Views0likes1CommentIssue with Meeting Notes View: Box Obstructing Content
Hello, I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with the Notes section in Microsoft Teams after a meeting. Here’s what’s happening: When I access the Notes from the Details tab or the Recap section in the Teams calendar, the Notes interface initially appears large enough. However, a white box is obstructing the bottom half of the Notes, preventing me from scrolling or viewing the full content. I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps: Restarting Teams Clearing the Teams cache Restarting Computer Testing on a different device Switching Teams themes (e.g., Light, Dark, High Contrast) Unfortunately, none of these resolved the issue. I’m currently using the light theme and Teams is fully updated. My Teams cache is cleared, and I don’t believe it’s related to system display settings since other apps work fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, were you able to resolve it? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Edit: I tried to post this discussion before but it completely disappeared so I hope this works!! Thank you, Emelie157Views0likes2CommentsHow to use Facilitator in Teams [Meeting AI Assistant]

Hello, My company has a number of customized backgrounds that are available as background filters when enabling your camera. Currently they sit at the bottom of the list. I would like to know a way to re-arrange the background options so our custom backgrounds are at the top of the list for everyone in the organization. Thank you. This should be a fun discovery, we just found the captioned issue happened to one of our clients' sites, all of their Teams Room have the same problem. When the room's Teams Room app is going to join an ongoing Teams meeting, and at the same time there's participants having a discussion in the meeting, the newly joined Teams Room app would not be able to contribute in the discussion after it successfully joins the meeting. The Teams Room app would not show the microphone as muted, neither it will highlight the Teams Room camera view to indicate "speaking" status. You can talk and talk in the Teams Room room but you won't be able to interupte the ongoing discussion until, there's a gap of silence appears, for just a few seconds, around 5s, if you grap this chance to speak up, you would be able to speak for the first time since your joining. And from that moment, everything will be normal, you won't lose your voice for the second time. Please note, I'm not talking about if you joined the meeting as the 5th partcipant, or with even greater number of total participants. We are talking about a total of 3 participants only. If you joined as the 3rd participant, you'll encounter the problem. There're two key requirements to repeat the symptom: You join with the Team Room app, not Personal Teams; The people already in the meeting, need to speak/make sound when you first join the meeting and try to speak for the first time. I also ruled out result of AEC by only using headsets in the meeting. I have video record of the issue for easier understanding, and I have conducted similar tests with different sets of Crestron UC, in different rooms, even tested on a newly restored set of Teams Room. I'm planning to do similar test with other brands of Teams Room equipment, just to compare. Please feel free to share your experience in similar issue. I'm dying to find out the reason behind it.91Views0likes0CommentsNeed Information on Microsoft Teams O365 Management API
Hi Community, I was exploring the Office 365 Management Activity API documentation- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office-365-management-api/office-365-management-activity-api-reference and came across a few queries. I hope someone can help clarify these: Maximum Volume of Data: What is the maximum volume of data (e.g., MB/GB per day) that we can retrieve using the Office 365 Management API for Microsoft Teams? Is there any specific limit documented? Filtering Logs by Workload: When sending requests to the Office 365 Management API, how can I fetch logs specific to Microsoft Teams? I tried applying the filter Workload: MicrosoftTeams in the request, but it also returned logs for other workloads. Below is the API URL I used for the request: https://manage.office.com/api/v1.0/<TENANT-ID>/activity/feed/audit/<contentID> I checked the documentation but couldn’t find specific guidance on these points. Can anyone provide insights or share examples of how to resolve these issues? Thank you in advance!165Views0likes2Comments
