Skype for Business currently installs as a packaged product with Microsoft 365 Business Professional desktop apps. The installation does not install Teams as a part of the Microsoft 365 Business Professional desktop apps. Additionally, Skype for Business has its own installation which is separate from Microsoft 365 Business Professional desktop apps installation. Windows OS: 11 Pro w/ Windows updates. Issues: Users are unable to remove Skype for Business from their desktop by clicking “Uninstall” located on the Windows Start menu. Teams upgrade requires Skype for Business settings to be set manually via the Teams Admin Center. Using the PowerShell command: uninstall-package 'Microsoft Skype for Business MUI (English) 2016' to remove Skype for Business requires NuGet to be manually installed prior to performing a removal task or does not remove the application at all. The odd thing about this is that the system recognizes that a 2016 edition of Skype for Business exists. Note: Microsoft Word reads with the following version number: Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2508 Build 16.0.19127.20082) 64-bit Granting and then revoking API permissions via Entra Admin center does not separate Skype for Business from the Microsoft 365 Business Professional installation. I have a lot of important files and applications C drive, so I'm trying to find a way to reset Windows 10 password without losing any data. Help me get FLIP to work.
Here's my specific question (I think): How can I use Teams for Education if I already use my school email for Teams for Business? My end goal is to be able to use the FLIP app available in Teams for Education. I intend to use FLIP as a video discussion platform for my university classes (FLIP is formerly Flipgrid, a 3rd-party tool from 2012, and acquired by Microsoft in 2018). FLIP is no longer supported by Microsoft as a 3rd-party tool. Therefore, the FLIP app was removed from the Teams for Business product on July 1st, 2024. So far as I understand, FLIP is only being integrated into the Teams for Education product. I tried downloading Teams for Education, but when I install it, Teams for Business opens. I can't open Teams for Education. Here are my questions: 1. Sales: Can I download and use Teams for Education independently from Teams for Business? Does Teams for Education require purchasing a separate license? Would I need a separate email (apart from the email I use for Teams for Business)? 2. Teams for Business Engineers: Is there a chance similar functionality to the FLIP app will be integrated into Teams for Business? If so, when might I expect that? Teams Room "Cannot Fetch Calendar"
Good day, I have just finished setting up our Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub500. Creating the room and users account as per MS instructions is all done and Teams Room is logged in. I can start a new meeting and project but no meetings are showing up. At the top it says "Cannot Fetch Calendar". What are we doing wrong? Thanks.

(0x80070570) This error happens instantly, I see a 0% loading bar and then the error occures. I am on a domain machine using a local administrator account. What I have done so far: DISM /online /cleanup-image /check health - ok SFC /Scannow - Founder corruption, fixed it, restart, no change. Deleted ProgramData/Microsoft/*Teams files/folders Delete %appdata%/Local and roaming TEAMS files and TEMP cache. Delete Software Distribution folder content. Used 'Everything' app to find and delete the remaining TEAMS files. Restarted 3-4 times now, no change. Please advise? Thanks, William Croft
