Microsoft Edge Version 91.0.862.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) comes with this new feature flag: Enhance text contrast Renders text using the same contrast and gamma settings that are used elsewhere in Windows. Run the ClearType Text Tuner to adjust the contrast and gamma settings for your monitor. – Windows #edge-enhance-text-contrast edge://flags/#edge-enhance-text-contrast12KViews6likes18CommentsEmbedded font not sharing properly when in Powerpoint live in Teams- with exceptions!?
So, my team use a .TTF we have created and embedded into our PowerPoints. We run Windows 11 on different laptops, usually Dell (if that matters) and have come across som ething very bizarre. When sharing via PowerPoint live in Microsoft Teams the main slide displayed comes across in a random unrecognisable font (not even in English). But the display thumbnails for the presenter show the correct font. And to top it all off, if you view it in the playback it shows the correct font!? Any ideas what sort of shenanigans are happening?4.8KViews0likes10CommentsImprove font appearance effectiveness in Edge
Whatever font I set in edge://settings/fonts it won't get applied neither to the Edge setting pages nor to the website content web content don't show any sign of custom font setting. then based on what Thraetaona said: it appears that : "Those font overrides only affect websites that do not specify any defaults (weather it's through stylesheets, CSS's @font-face or choosing from browser built-in fonts). However they can still be overridden by preventing the browser from loading those custom fonts, that should force fallback fonts to be used instead." now, I tried opening some 50 websites from my favorites list, among them only 3 of them was affected by the font change, the rest were already using custom and default fonts. so my suggestion is, to make font settings in Edge more effective and actually useful, add a checkbox or switch in edge://settings/fonts so that when user turns it on, the font settings will be forced and applied to all websites, even those using custom/default fonts. it would be also useful if it was a site-based setting, so we could set a custom font for each website.3.9KViews2likes2CommentsFont size and formating changes between Chrome and Edge based on Chromium

We have access to all of these colors for the background color in Immersive Reader mode in Edge but no option to change Font color. Font color only changes from black to white when background is black. It would help me make the text better for reading by choosing a different font color than black when I'm using a background color that is not white. https://streamable.com/pr5os2.5KViews7likes7CommentsEdge Dev Font blurry, and elements have black border

I Keep Setting the Headings to Stark Black And the body text like this to a medium gray. I'd like to emphasize browse-ability on a few SharePoint pages, demonstrating a strategic-heading technique to build consumable pages for those of us who like to skim pages to get the gist of whatever boring long run-on technically-detailed sentences consume the pixels in between. But I have to set the color for Every Freaking Heading. And Every Freaking Paragraph. And it's getting annoying. Annoying enough to use capitals improperly for emphasis. Is it possible to change the default colors? Perhaps through PNP, SPO, or some other method within the legal limits of wizardry? I'd really like to showcase textual content creation that can be consumed effectively at multiple depths, and all this color changing is a real agitator. (that sentence sounds cool if you say it out loud in the voice of Tow Mater) Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!1.4KViews0likes2Comments
