How to directly open a folder on my OneDrive via Windows 10 File Explorer Quick Access?
I want to open folders which are on my OneDrive directly via the Quick Access list in Windows 10 File Explorer. To do this I add folders to Quick Access via the "Pin current folder to Quick access". However, when I do this, the Quick Access "shortcut" to the folder doesn't open the folder on the OneDrive. Instead, it opens the locally-stored mirror of that folder. (This is the "on demand" cached copy created by OneDrive, I assume). What must I do to achieve what I want, namely that the Quick Access link opens the folder on the OneDrive directly?
Refresh button on Windows 11 in File Explorer
I absolutely hate this new right-click menu when I am on File Explorer. I cannot directly click "Refresh" but have to click 'Show more' and then only click "Refresh". WTH was Microsoft thinking when deciding that. I shouldn't be the only one who is getting annoyed with this.Windows preview in File Explorer causes files are locked message
We have an issue with Windows Preview in File Explorer. When an employee opens a pdf file from the network they receive the message: "PDF file is locked by another user. Would you like to open a read-only copy of the file". The issue is not that the file is in use, the issue is that the preview button is buggy. If I tell the employee to disable the preview button the issue goes away. We use Bluebeam REVU 2019, but this issue has been around for at least a couple of years. Excel is sometime affected by the preview button as well. Who at Microsoft is tasked to fix the issue with the Preview button? Our employees love to leave the preview button engaged because they like that they can view a smaller version of the files they are viewing. Thank you,
File Explorer Quick Access Permissions Error
I am an administrator on my PC (Dell XPS 8940) running Windows 11 22H2 Build 22621.525 Beta insider build. When I try to pin or unpin anything to my File Explorer Quick Access in the Navigation pane I get the following error: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I have checked all the permissions I can think of and mine is set to "Full Control". If I log onto another Admin account everything works fine. I have searched the internet but cannot seem to find anything related (except check your permissions are set correctly). I ran an update from the latest Windows 11 22H2 ISO file and it had no effect. I really do not want to reset my Windows as I have a lot of customization and applications.Windows 11 File Explorer controls are potentially unclear to older users
I work with many older clients over the age of 70 and several tell me they do not "read" icons very well, and prefer to look for text on screen to help them remember what the "different buttons do." The optional large ribbon of toolbar buttons in Windows 10 File Explorer made things extremely clear, with large buttons and icons with clear text explaining the common functions of copying, pasting, moving, renaming, sharing or deleting items. I personally like the minimal design of Windows 11, and it is great that the design follows through all apps, so that the icons are the same, but I would really like to see a few more text labels. I attach a suggested improvement for File Explorer:

File Explorer takes 4-5 seconds to open after updating windows to version 20H2. Tried running system file checker. Didn't work. It's really annoying. Update: After trying few solutions from other sources, I have restored my Windows to previous stable version.
Sync programs (Eg: OneDrive or Google Drive) cause file naming bug
There is a bug in Windows 10 when renaming files and I believe it is being caused by OneDrive or any other sync platform. This problem has been present for at least a year. It's difficult to describe this issue, but basically in Windows 10, if you want to rename a file without replacing the entire file name, you double click the file name or hit F2. Then you click within the file name to deselect the name so that you can make partial edits. However, Windows 10 reselects the entire file name again a second later. With OneDrive closed, this issue isn't present.File Explorer should be able to open multiple files of the same type at once
This is a feature that I wish I had almost every day, and the main reason why I end up using my MacBook Pro. I often need to open 30+ PDF files at once, multiple Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign files, even word documents or images at once. As soon as you have more than one file selected in File Explorer, all the 'Open' or 'Open With' options disappear. If this isn't the right forum to make this suggestion, where can I post it? It seems like a fairly obvious feature for a file explorer to have.
