Embed LinkedIn Content in SharePoint
LinkedIn has removed the Embed option so we can't grab code from posts that we want to highlight on our intranet home page (which is a (SharePoint Online Comm site). Any ideas on a workaround or another web part we could use? Does Microsoft have plans for a LinkedIn web part like they do for YouTube or Twitter?
Embeddable links in Stream videos
Our org creates educational videos via Stream, and we would like to add an embeddable link within the video to take the user to our SharePoint site for more info. Is this possible? We know that YouTube has the ability to add a video Card or add an End Screen to highlight any additional resources/content that the uploader wants to provide. We have not seen a similar method of doing this in Stream.Share video by link or embed in the intranet
Hi, We currently use SharePoint Online and sync our AD to Azure AD with single sign-on as authentication. We are now looking at Stream as a replacement for YouTube for corporate videos. I haven't got single sign-on working so that I can embed the video in the intranet, therefore I am going to just send the link in an email. I simply want link to open the video for staff members to watch. When my test group opens the link it prompts them and tells them that it is setting up their account, see 1st screen in process attached. How can I avoid this and just have a link that simply takes them to the video? Hope that makes sense, Ollie
OneDrive Direct Download Link
Hi all, My Problem and Question This question pertains to OneDrive for personal use. Microsoft recently made a change to the link format from the embed feature and made my direct download links obsolete. I would retrieve these links from the embed feature in OneDrive and the links looked like what's shown below. The link would directly serve the file to whomever accessed it without them ever having to interact with OneDrive. With the changes Microsoft recently made to OneDrive, is there a new way of getting links that have this functionality? Old link format (no longer works): https://onedrive.live.com/download?resid=XXXXXXXXXXX&authkey=XXXXXXXXXXX My Own Digging I've scoured several forums unable to find any solutions. I have found a temporary solution; however, the links generated via this method only have temporary authentication, so they expire after a day. Perhaps it could be a real solution if I could figure out how to get a permanent auth token for a personal OneDrive file. I'm retrieving the link from the GET request when clicking the download button on a file from a publicly shared link. Is it possible to change the default setting when generating the embed code from Stream so that it is responsive by default and you have to turn responsive mode on rather than off. We want the video to be accessible to all our students no matter what device or size screen they are using. The current settings mean that staff have to remember to change this to responsive before copying the URL to share in our LMS.
Stable URI for OneDrive Excel Embedding
I have a website with an embedded iframe of an Excel spreadsheet through OneDrive's "Embed" option. The problem is that every time I update the file the URI changes (specifically the authkey and resid parameters) and it breaks the embed. Is there anyway to pin those variables to the file so that I can update it and not break the embed?
