NEW Teams Version - Remember to bring back "Contacts" in Chat
Good morning! I was able to download and activate the new version of MS - Teams...Looks good so far... But "Contacts" @Chat is missing in this new version.... I am not able to see my managed contacts anymore.... Please remember to bring this MAYOR feature back in some way when you release this new version for all people......
Teams chat notifications on both PC speakers and headset
Hi, I am using a headset for calls but this headset is not on my head unless I am on a call. I noticed you have added the secondary ringer in the headset settings but I am saddened to see that this setting only applies to calls and not chat notifications. I work on more than one computer screen and I don't always realize someone is chatting with me until I look at my taskbar and see numbers next to the Teams Icon, would it be at all possible to add the sound notifications on both headset and pc speakers as you did for incoming calls? Thanks
Teams Custom App Icon Not displaying sometimes
Hi everyone, having trouble with a custom teams app not displaying the app icon sometimes. Generally if you quit teams and re-open solves the issue, but this is not a good user experience. I have: Created a custom Teams personal app and set custom icon Automatically pinned these apps to Microsoft teams for all users Sometimes: App Icon shows as blank App Icon shows correctly As stated restarting Microsoft teams usually fixes the issue. Teams opening too many windows during a call
Recently Teams updated. Now it shows 3 different windows during a call: the teams normal window, the call window and some small window that pops up at the bottom of the screen when I minimize the call window. I cannot begin to describe how annoying and frustrating this is. Is there a way to have everything in just ONE window, the way it was before?I especially don't want that stupid little window to pop up at the bottom of the screen when i move away from the call. Having to close it everytime is just too annoying especially because often i need to switch to and from the call window. Also having 3 different team windows is a nightmare when i have to switch often between programs. It was really well before, can I revert to the previous version when the call window used to appear in the teams window itself?
Web - favicon should change for notifications
Hi, I use Teams in a browser and keep the tab pinned. This means that I cannot see any text that's part of the title. Teams does not currently change the favicon/tab icon whenever a notification occurs, which leads to missed messages. I also use a pinned tab for Slack in my browser. Slack will change the icon from gray -> white for messages in a channel, and white with a red tab when I've been highlighted through a DM or am @mentioned; this gives me a much more clear indication if there's something that requires my attention. Similar functionality would be a great addition to the Teams web app. If someone has a better way to handle this situation, I'm keen to hear it. Nick
Sorting names alphabetically
I can't seem to sort the names alphabetically in the "manage team" settings. However, it is possible to do so on the assignment tab. I'm currently using the MS Teams app for desktop. It is a very simple tool that would make a huge difference to me. Please, implement it soon. Thanks.
