14 Topics- Day by Staff View - Stuck in 6 day ViewHi all, I wonder if anyone can help please? We have one main booking page with 5 different services listed within it with their own emails addressed linked to Outlook calendars. In the past few weeks, the main booking calendar has only allowed us to view 6 days at a time, which is almost impossible to view when there are 5 services listed. We have also used 'day by staff' view and been able to scan through one day at a time to easily see what appointment are available and where each day. I have tried all of the advice i can find only, cleared cache, flicked between the different views, checked the booking availability - nothing seems to fix it. Is anyone else having this issue, and can anyone help? Thank you1View0likes0Comments
- Microsoft Bookings double-booking staff despite busy calendar entrieHello everyone, We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Bookings. Our setup allows external customers to book appointments via the published booking link on our website. However, we have noticed that staff members can still be double-booked, even when their Outlook calendars show them as “Busy.” Here’s what we have already done to try to resolve the issue: Ensured that the option “Events on Office calendar affect availability” is enabled for all staff in Bookings. Verified that in Outlook, the staff calendars have appointments marked as “Busy” to reflect their availability. Shared staff calendars with the Bookings account and set default permissions to “When I’m busy”. Checked that the booking page settings are set to respect staff availability. Despite these steps, the system still allows bookings to be made during times when staff are busy. Our staff mailboxes are hybrid (both on-premises and in Exchange Online), and we are running a hybrid setup in general. We are wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there are recommended solutions or workarounds. Thank you for any insights!80Views0likes1Comment
- Adding a room/resource as a staff member to BookingsIs it possible to add a room/resource at Bookings as a staff member? We're trying to setup a booking page where people can book a service (e.g. a meeting) in room (i.e. a room setup as a staff member). When creating a new staff member I get the option to add any of the rooms/resources in the "add people" field. This ticks the "events on office 365 affect availability" option. However after I save the staff member and go back into the record, it now shows as a "guest" (where it originally was "viewer") and the "events on office 365 affect availability" option is no longer ticked and greyed out as an option. Is there a way to do this? Or do "staff" have to be real users to sync availability?23KViews1like11Comments
- category in ms365 group calendarIn our organization are shared mailboxes a commom used item. We want to go with the flow and want to migrate to office365 groups. This new groups has the future, so the can be used in more options as de shared mailbox. How ever the group calander is a step back in time. Many departments uses the calender function of the shared mailbox and uses also the colored category function to see which task and/or messages belongds to which employee. When an employee change the status of an item every other employee sees this chages at the changed color and description. In de calender of the MS365 group the catergorization is only functional in the outlook session of an user. So when a user create a calender item this items appears in every members outlook sessie, however the catergorization whice is made to the item is not visual for the other members. On the internet I see notice of this back to 2019. Is there a roadmap which tells when this will be implemented. Without the categorization the group calender is not useful to us.946Views1like1Comment
- Calender Sharing Outlook 365 wrong permissionsHi, my users are sharing their calenders by using "Can view titles and locations". When the recipient of the shared calender clicks on an appointment, he/she can see the details including Attachments. We are using Microsoft Exchange on Prem with hybrid MS365, all users are migrated to the cloud and using the latest version of the classic outlook.297Views0likes0Comments
- MS Bookings - How to change the auto created user accountHello all, when I create a new shared booking calendar, an account is automatically created with the name of the booking calendar. Is there any way to change this automatically generated AD user and refer to the already existing one? Surely this cannot be a normal function?! Example: Existing user A (user_a@xy) wants to have a booking calendar. I create a calendar for user A. A new user is created in the background (user_a1@xy) and the new booking calendar is assigned to this new user. This behavior spams the AD with unnecessary users and makes it very confusing. The problem has already been reported, but unfortunately no meaningful feedback came out. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/ms-bookings-how-to-change-the-auto-created-user/df3b3a7f-8639-4525-bbf7-dacf2d4fdc47 How can I prevent this, or change the calendar back to the correct user? Thanks5.7KViews1like2Comments

- Daylight savings Outlook CalendarThe time-zone for UTC-5:00 in my Outlook calendar seems to be off about an hour. I think this happened after daylight savings. Does anyone else have this issue or is able to replicate? This might be effecting other users in our domain, so I will be watching this post and can answer any followup questions. My local computer time is correct and recently synced with the DC. Sending a calendar invite and selecting the time based on timezone is accurate (tested with another on Eastern time). I think the only issue is how it's displayed on the calendar. For now I'm using UTC-6:00 Central as that's what UTC-5:00 Eastern actually is. Office vers. 16.0.14931.201202.1KViews0likes1Comment
