Hi everyone. I have a pair of Taotronics Soundliberty 79 earbuds. They've pair fine with my laptop running Win 10 and work for listening to music. I've also tested joining a Google Meets meeting and audio works fine in both directions. However, when I join a MS Teams meeting after a minute or two I can no longer hear audio through my earbuds, but the microphone continues to work and others can hear me. I need to go to device settings in Teams and switch to PC speaker/mic then back to the earbuds to restore audio which only lasts a couple of minutes before dropping out again. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?Solved166KViews10likes68CommentsBluetooth and Wireless display not working on Windows Server 2022
Dear All, While this may not be the required case in production. However, on my standalone laptop, I have installed Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Edition(GUI). Wireless Network is working which helps me to connect to WiFi network for internet. BUT, Bluetooth devices are NOT connected. They are detected and showed as 'paired' but never connects. ALSO, it fails to detect the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. This is useful when I want to present my laptop screen with all Hyper-V machines on a projector with which Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter is connected. Let me know if anyone has experienced this similar behavior and if there are any suggestions around. regards KayyumSolved114KViews2likes237CommentsBluetooth headset microphone bad quality
I try use my bluetooth headset (Sony WH-XB900N) in MS Teams. Sound ist good but other members in the video conference can't hear me very good. My voice is very quiet. The same in the test call option. The microphone level in Win 10 is on 100%. I tried the headphone in Skype and the quality is good there. Hardware is ok then. I have the same issue on two different devices (Laptops).Solved106KViews3likes26CommentsBluetooth earphones doesn't work in Windows 11
Some Bluetooth earphones (like Haylou GT1) don't work on Windows 11 and it was working perfectly on Windows 10. I think the problem with the drivers and especially with the earphone driver not with the Bluetooth driver because the Bluetooth works normally with the controllers. Just to let you know when I disable the "Haylou-GT1 Avrcp Transport" driver and keep the "Haylou-GT1" driver enable it sometimes works but with very bad quality sound so I am some kind of sure it's a driver problem and that driver provider is Microsoft so I think you can fix it. There is a lot of people who had the same problem, look at this link: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/report-an-issue/bluetooth-earphones-doesnt-work-in-windows-11/m-p/2554552 I contacted Microsoft support and they say: "Only our engineers have the access to its Windows 11" So they advised me to post in here in windows insider (I don't know why, I am not a Windows insider member, I just downloaded windows 11 when it's released for everyone.)26KViews18likes20CommentsGPO to disable "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC"
It does not appear to be possible to disable "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC" via group policy. This setting can be found in Settings > Bluetooth and other devices > More Bluetooth options Can someone point me to the GPO to disable this, or can this be added as a future feature request?23KViews0likes3CommentsProblems with custom audio setup on teams.
I have been using teams for my school for the past 3 months. Until recently I used to have a custom setup for my audio devices where I would use my Bluetooth Boat Airdopes 441 as the output and my Headset Microphone (plugged in through the 3.5 mm jack) as the input. However since a week this setup has stopped working. The moment I do this setup, I stop hearing the meeting. The only way my earphones work is when both the Audio input and output are from the headphones. However when I use my speaker as the output, it works perfectly. (Refer Screenshot). I am on Windows 11 and using teams for work and school version. Also this setup works perfectly on Discord and Zoom so there isn't a problem with the headphones or the microphone.18KViews4likes10CommentsPhone link says I already have the phone set-up with another app
The Phone Link on the computer is where the issues are and under Calls I have lost the ability to use the phone feature. I've followed calls troubleshooting. I removed all Bluetooth apps including unpairs. This didn't fix the issue. I've terminated, repaired, and reset then I cleared these again and uninstalled. Redownloaded it from the Microsoft store and still cannot connect. Microsoft store and Windows Updates are up to date. On the Samsung S20fe phone I've cleared Link to Windows/Link to Windows Service. The phone is all up to date Update: The issue is happening as soon as I confirm the pin with the computer and phone to connect to calls. It will then say that I have another device linked using Bluetooth. It happens randomly and sporadically whenever you start listening to a new audio (video) after period of silence: for a few seconds sound quality drops as if headset is in communication mode (which greatly reduces quality), then everything goes back to normal. Sure enough, when I go to sound settings after that happens headset is marked as communication device (which I keep changing to another device every time, but it somehow switches back again). I don't use my headset for communication at all, only listen in 'music mode', its mic is completely disabled in settings (as I use external microphone), so I can't imagine why would it fallback to communication profile. Build .132, this problem had NEVER occurred in Windows 10, been using my headphones for more than six months, so I'm pretty confident this is W11 bluetooth audio related bug.11KViews3likes11CommentsAllow Call feature on Your Phone app to work WITHOUT Bluetooth. use it over INTERNET or WIFI

Our mobile workers are going for minimalism which means a Surface Pro/Laptop/Book. So we got rid of the USB dongle for the external mouse and use Bluetooth but our Skype for Business certified over-the-ear headsets (at the moment Jabra Evolve) still require a USB dongle (which looks awful, break and get lost). Looking at the certified SfB BT headsets - Jabra, Sennheiser, Logitech, Plantronics - all of them seem to have USB dongles.: I suspect why - it’s probably required to control the SfB client from the headset and without the dongle and ”native Bluetooth” only, this is not possible. Is that really so and can we ever expect any certified SfB BT headsets without a dongle? Anyone with experience regarding this - maybe it works great ”anyway” with native BT? Otherwise, we might just go back to headsets with cable :)7.6KViews0likes5Comments
