Bing Webmaster Content Removal Tool not working; Raising support ticket also does not work
I have pages that were deleted by the website owner that contained personal information, yet the removed personal information still appears in Bing search results. I tried to remove them using the content removal tool, but it claims: "The URL you submitted still works on the web and isn’t a broken link. You can only request an outdated cache removal for this page. Please enter a word that appears in the cached version of the page but no longer appears on the web page." When I enter any word that appears in the cached version, including unique personal information, I get the message: "The entered text does not appear in the Bing cached version of the page. Please enter a word that appears in the cached version of the page but no longer appears on the web page." When you click on the offending Bing search result, it redirects to the website's home page, but the page showing in the personal information is gone. I tried raising a support ticket, but whenever I go to submit the "Create support ticket" does absolutely nothing. How can I get these outdated search results that contain my personal data off of Bing?
Safe search cannot be disabled in the UK
I am in the UK. I am an adult, logged in using an account which is well over 18 years old, in fact it's closer to 25. Every month, I pay you for 365, using a UK credit card in the name of the account, and the account is registered with many utility providers. I am demonstrably over 18. So why can't I disable safe search? - When I try to change the dropdown on the page, it flips back. - When I go to the settings, the option is disabled, Even using a VPN doesn't disable it. That is, unless I sign out. If I sign out: - Then from a UK IP, I cannot disable safe search. - From any other country, there is no problem. It is blatantly obvious this is a UK block. That's fine, if you give adults an override. So how do I override it? How do I verify my age? And clearly this isn't legally necessary because no other search engine does it. So if you can't treat me like an adult without ridiculous workarounds, I'll search elsewhere. Thanks.

Hello, I know this sounds like a very stupid question, but I literally cannot remove this theme for some reason. earlier today, I accidentally clicked on it and didn't think much of it. but now, I can't find the option to remove it 😭 any feedback would be helpful. thanks.

Hello! Our pages descriptions are displayed with what looks like wrong encoding in organic search results. like this: This error seem to be across the board across different page types but yet completely random. I checked Bing's webmaster tool and discovered pages in question are indexed incorrectly The pages use standard UTF-8 charset so I am at loss what could be causing this issue. Hello everyone, I've been experiencing this problem on Bing Search where when I type something on the input text box, it overlays the text on the navigation links just below the text box. I'm on Edge and it's updated so I don't know what's up. Any person experiencing this issue and know how to resolve it? I'll attach a screenshot. Suggestions to make Bing more innovative and useful than Google. (Please take a look)
I have recently moved away from Google to Bing and i've been very much satisfied with the provided results but i have tested MANY search engines and i want to share some ideas taken from various different search engines that could be implemented in bing, making it far more useful and innovative than google for every user. - Widgets: These small info boxes are very popular on smartphones, especially android phones, implementing weather, time, mail and other optional and default widgets for Bing Search would make it very useful. Such widgets could be added between the search bar and selective titles (All, News, Images, Videos, Maps and etc) on the search page, while adding it to bing on homepage simply under the search bar would do. - Make homepage more simple and straight-forward: I am completely fine with bing's homepage, since i have tested various search engines, but from a normal users point of view, bing's homepage is filled with various unnecessary elements which could be simplified (not removed). Small changes like making the search bar slightly bigger, move it more towards the center, not show the news section right on the homepage (instead replace it with an arrow, showing users to scroll down to view news section). These small changes will make things more straight-forward, since when people come over from google to bing, too much of things on one page will simply discourage users to search up on bing, making the search bar big and moving it to the center will encourage people to search and make things look less distracting. These are few things i wanted to share, something i think would really help more people to start using bing, many new things like widgets could keep you informed always, like weather for your location. Hopefully this can be passed over to the dev team and contribute to Bing's improvement:) Alyxe
