In the Event tab within Viva Engage Communities it would be great with some improvements to enhance the usage and customization of Events. Similar to Facebook and Workplace events where participants had the possibility to select "Attending" and "Not attending". We have cases where we plan in person events where it would be really helpful to get an overview of participants that are attending. Similar to Facebook and Workplace events where participants had the possibility to select "Attending" and "Not attending". Additionally, giving users the ability to add events directly to their calendars would help them stay organized and maintain a better overview of company activities. To summarize very wanted features are: The options for participants to click Attending/Not attending. Option to "Add to Calendar" directly from the event page The ability to mark the event as In Person Is this on Microsoft's Roadmap for enhancements, or could it be considered for future updates?19Views0likes1CommentInline images still not available for Discussions and Questions
I understand that "Articles" is a new premium feature for Viva Engage that allows inline images when creating an article. However, does anyone know why inline images are still not available in "Discussions" and "Questions" post options? This feature has been missing since day one for those post types. Although it became available last year with "Articles," it has yet to be integrated into the most frequently used post types in Engage, where it is desperately needed. What is the reasoning behind this?147Views0likes1CommentUsage Of Custom Email Domain for Viva Engage communications
Can you use a custom domain for all Viva Engage communications? Currently there's security concerns that emails from Viva Engage can not be allow listed since they use the same domain other tenants use. We have security concerns this maybe exploited by attackers looking to exploit the platform in malicious email attacks. What controls are there (if any) to send engagements from our custom accepted domain for the tenant so our cybersecurity teams don't have security concerns? Also can you provide documentation that keeps the platform from being exploited by a threat actors from targeting other Microsoft 365 tenants? What controls have been implemented to keep this from being active exploited? Or has this been considered? This has legitimate concerns from our cybersecurity teams. Defender 365 solutions are not an acceptable answer.95Views0likes2CommentsDisabling Viva Engage Email Notifications to specific accounts
We have just begun using Viva Engage in our organization, and we want to disable the email notifications to specific mailboxes (efax mailboxes, shared mailboxes, etc.). Is there a way to accomplish this? Can I use a 365 Group to do so? Any help is greatly appreciated!!! AdamSolved941Views0likes2CommentsHow to download/export usernames in Viva Engage?

Many thanks in advance! Thanks BanashreeSolved254Views1like2CommentsInvite guests to Viva Engage Community
I am looking into using Viva Engage but it is a deal breaker for us that guests with non-microsoft accounts cannot be added. It looks like the old Yammer used to allow external users to join? but the new Viva Engage does not? I have read articles about the new B2B guest framework https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/engage/work-with-external-users/collaborate-guests-external-viva-engage-community What I am trying to achieve though is allowing personal accounts, gmail, hotmail, etc Our use case is that we have a company community, but would like to invite a small number of guests into our community prior to them joining our team to give them a feel for how the business operates. I would be happy to assign purchase and assign licenses, but there is no easy way for non Office365 admins to do so. It would also cause friction to ask a new person that is not part of our business to use a new MS email account. Ideally this is how I would see it working Just allow guests to join with personal accounts. Community admins can just type in their email and invite them. We could have a pool of available Viva Engage licences. Community admins can invite a guest via their personal email address and assign an available licence.Solved529Views0likes1CommentMigration to Viva Engage
Hi Would anyone know if there are more options to upload data from our old company portal in bulk to Viva Engage other than the API? I just finished the export of the old portal and have a JSON file with all posts and links to pictures and documents. I scripted everything to download the documents and use the ID of the post as filenames so I can add them back. Drawback of using the API is that you can't post on behalf of someone else so all user related data is lost nor can you set the date on which the post is originally created. Any tips would be welcome. Thanks!1.6KViews0likes4CommentsViva Goals - Reassigning Objectives & Key Results
Hi All, I’m wondering if someone would be able to help with what seems like a Viva Goals glitch described below please? It seems that when reassigning objectives or key results within Viva Goals, it seems to ‘hang onto’ the data from the older owner when creating filtered views. E.G.1: I reassigned objectives & key results what were initially assigned to OldUser1, to NewUser2. Yet, when I do a filter by owner OldUser1, which should be blank, it shows me NewUser2 newly assigned objectives E.G.2: Similarly, User3 has reassigned some of his objectives to others, yet when filtering for his objectives only, it brings up other objectives that are no longer related to User3. These also appear within his “My OKRs” view which clutters up his filtered view. I’m guessing its something to do with cached data maybe but just guessing. Would anyone know of a solution to this please? Can we create Channels like Teams in Viva Engage Communities?
Hi, I was wondering whether is it possible to create Channels like in Microsoft Teams inside a Viva Engage Community? Or is it achieved by something else? It will help in a broader community to have channels, which are focusing on a small part of the whole community goal. If this can be done in any other way in Viva Engage, that's also okay. Thanks in advance. 🙂Solved413Views0likes1Comment
