I changed my Microsoft email a year ago, and it updated everywhere other than the Feedback Portal. As a result, I get an error when I try to login, or do anything on the page. Microsoft account support's suggestion was to login to the Feedback Portal which is insane given I'm having issues accessing it. How can I get this issue resolved? I've got three separate support tickets now and they keep asking me to wait 24 hours to get the issue resolved. Can someone from the Feedback Portal team please contact me to resolve this? This is what Microsoft Support have said: "understand your frustration, and yes—this is an account‑related issue because the Feedback Portal is still tied to your old alias, which causes login conflicts and forces you out. Your Microsoft account itself signs in correctly, but the Feedback Portal is pulling outdated identity data that you cannot update on your own. Since you cannot access the Portal to submit feedback, directing you back there is not a workable solution. What you need is for Support to escalate this to the internal Identity/Feedback Platform engineering team so they can manually correct the outdated alias mapping on the backend. In this situation, the Feedback Portal and Tech Community teams are the ones who manage and maintain that specific platform. Because the issue appears on the Feedback Portal side—even though your Microsoft account is working normally—only their dedicated team can make the necessary corrections on their end. That’s why we are guiding you to connect with them through the links provided: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/ or https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback. They will be able to review the portal‑specific account data and assist you further. I understand why this is frustrating. Since you’re unable to stay signed in to the Feedback Portal, I completely see why posting there isn’t possible for you. However, I do need to be transparent: I’m not able to escalate this issue directly to the Feedback Portal team, as they don’t provide internal escalation channels for us and only accept requests through their own platform."4Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft 365 admin center support
I am extremely disappointed with the customer support experience associated with Microsoft 365 Business. As a business customer, I expected a reliable support system. Unfortunately, the reality has been the opposite, and I feel compelled to caution others to carefully consider their options before committing their hard-earned money to a Microsoft 365 business subscription. After purchasing Microsoft Business licenses and transitioning my services from GoDaddy to Microsoft, I lost access to my global admin credentials. This should be a straightforward issue for support to resolve, yet it has turned into a prolonged and frustrating ordeal. For the past two weeks, I have been trying to obtain assistance without success. I contacted Microsoft support over ten days ago and received a ticket, with the assurance that someone would contact me within 24 hours. No one has reached out to me—not in 24 hours, and not in the ten days since. I attempted to escalate the issue, but even then, no meaningful support was provided. This level of customer service is unacceptable for any business solution, especially one that organizations rely on for critical operations. It is unreasonable to expect customers to run their businesses effectively without access to timely and competent support. At this point, I am requesting a refund for the service that has not been delivered, and I strongly urge Microsoft to address the shortcomings in its support system. The support I received from GoDaddy in the past was significantly better. I hope no other business has to experience this level of frustration, and I sincerely urge Microsoft to acknowledge and fix these issues.133Views1like3CommentsTrouble Setting Up Computer
Here's my dilemma: I'm setting up a new computer. Updates download and install just fine. I'm clicking through the pages, country, keyboard, etc. I get to to the one that wants you to set up your Microsoft account. I enter my email, then request a code, then enter the code. I get a page saying that since I didn't use a password that I need to create a PIN. I click on the Create PIN button and get a page that just spins and spins and spins and spins. I get someone on the tech support chat. We do the whole hold-the-power-button-for-5-seconds thing. The setup starts over. This time I request a password after I enter my email. I get sent to the same page saying that since I didn't use a password I needed to create a PIN. I click on the Create PIN button and get the page that perpetually spins. It never goes to the page to create a PIN. I wait for a while, like minutes, like unusually long for a page to load. I the routine several more times. Same result. I create a new account, use a new email address, new password, same thing. Internet connection is stable. Same behavior on a different Internet connection. The Create PIN page is not working. Also, one should not be required to sign in or create an account to set up a computer. There is no way to skip it. Moreover, the program sends you to the "since you didn't enter a password" page whether you entered a password or not. Additionally, I already a PIN, I'm being asked to create things that should already be associated with my account, it found my email and password, why not my PIN? I'm just trying to set up this Lenovo. Thoughts?115Views0likes1CommentInterface Views in Microsoft 365 Admin Center

I am currently developing an app for Teams and have set up accounts in the Azure portal, joined the developer program, and accessed the Teams developer portal. However, when attempting to log in to the Teams admin center, an error occurs: Internal calls to PLS Service have failed. We can't find the tenant region for tenantId. Please try again later to join the developer program, the message indicated: `Thank you for joining. You don't currently qualify for a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription.`. Research revealed that Microsoft discontinued the free subscription. A subscription is needed to access the Microsoft Teams admin center and for Teams app development. I can see various Microsoft 365 plans for businesses like Basic and Standard, as well as licenses available in the Microsoft 365 admin center. I am considering the Microsoft Teams Essentials license. However, there is confusion regarding whether to buy a subscription or a specific license, especially since active users in the 365 admin center are showing as unlicensed. Could anyone advise on which plan or license is necessary for Teams app development?355Views0likes2CommentsMissing users tab in 365 admin center

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of updating the passwords for multiple users, and I'd like to set specific passwords of my choice. Additionally, I want to ensure that these accounts won't prompt users to change their passwords upon their first login. I'd greatly appreciate your assistance, as the scripts I previously used are no longer effective.Solved20KViews0likes3CommentsFIDO2 enabled user receive "Protect your account"
We are having issues in two different scenarios with Azure MFA for users who use FIDO2 exclusively. It seems, any settings somehow still require Microsoft Authenticator. First scenario: Registering FIDO2 after the 14 days grace period When a user is created in Azure (either directly or on-prem sync, no difference here), the user has a 14 days grace period. During this period, configuring FIDO2 works flawlessly using a Temporary Access Pass (TAP). After the 14 days, the user logs in using the provided TAP to https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo, starts the "Add sign in method", follows the steps for the FIDO2 key, once the key is confirmed and the user is redirected back to mysecurityinfo, Azure prompts for a "Additional information is required" and requires the user to register the Microsoft Authenticator app first. The only logs we see is that the user interrupted the MFA setup. We tried several browsers, normal or incognito mode, different users, nothing prevented this, except for configuring MS Authenticator first, then configuring FIDO2 afterwards. We deleted the MS Authenticator app for these users as it was only a workaround. Now these users seem to face the second scenario below. Second scenario: FIDO2 sign in prompts for a "Protect your account" - skippable for 14 days Users are able to sign in using the FIDO2, and immediately after, they are prompted a "Protect your account" window, which asks them to configure MS Authenticator again. They have the option to skip this for 14 times (not days). If we check the user's sign in logs, it shows Failure for the user satisfying the Conditional Access requiring MFA, which is rather unexpected because the user does in fact manage to sign in using the FIDO2 security key, and is able to access the resources when skipping the "Protect your account" request. We thought it may be App specific, but finally the users face this issue with different apps (Workday, Concur, MS Teams...) After asking Google, many articles point out this is related to Security Defaults. This is not our case, as we are using https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business-premium/m365bp-turn-on-mfa?view=o365-worldwide&tabs=condit. The Conditional Access (CA) is enforcing an MFA of a custom Authentication Strength which includes the FIDO2 as one of the accepted options. The per-user MFA settings are configured to be Disabled for the affected users, as it is already enforced by the CA. The only setting that we have not modified yet is the Multifactor authentication registration policy which is set to Enabled - we cannot customise this as we have only P1 license (and we cannot find information if disabling this would later prevent us from enabling it afterwards due to missing license). As mentioned at the beginning, it seems there is somewhere a setting that expects everybody to use MS Authenticator for MFA regardless of what we configure, except if we disable MFA altogether (not gonna happen). Are there any other settings we should check or review or we can test? Thanks in advance.1.5KViews0likes2Comments
