Hello, I've been working with clients over Teams (work or school) as a guest of their organization for many years without major issues. I'm also subscribed to Office 365 Business, which is why also have a business account with the same e-mail as my private account. Recently, a client asked me to join their team and it caused major problems: I sometimes was able to sign-in with the web browser, but did not manage to change into their organisation. Sometimes it would show up in my list of organisation but not really lead anywhere and often remove that option after chosing it from the list. I could however still join my other client's team with the Teams (work or school) desktop app. While troubleshooting the issue, I deleted my Teams cache and restarted my computer multiple times, but the issue seemed to get progressevily worse. Now the Teams (work or school) app will always cause an "We're sorry - we've run into an issue" screen when I'm trying to sign-in with my e-mail. The web app would present me with a choice of which account to use that is associated with that e-mail (private or company). Choosing company would also provoke the "We're sorry" message, while my private account works and let's me sign into my previous client's team as a guest (which no longer works with the destop app). After a successful sign-out and sign-in to my private account, it would also list my new client in a dropdown menu of organsiations, but choosing that in the beginning would lead me to a Teams interface with no access to anything. When I choose it by changing organisations after a successfull login to my old client, it would lead me back to the dropdown list of clients but with the new client removed. I strongly suspect that there could be an issue with my account. I tried seeking support, but was not able to find a contact for account related issues with Teams. Especially since it seems to be related with my private account. As a software developer, I'm usually quite patient and resourceful when it comes to solving technical issues, but this one is really pushing my limits. What could I possibly do to troubleshoot this or get assistance with the state of my Microsoft accounts? The matter is quite urgent, since it is actually costing me time and money while I'm no longer able to access Teams. Thanks in Advance!1.4KViews0likes1CommentPersonal Teams Account - Cannot Create or Join Teams (Office 365 Subscriber)
I just left a company that used Teams, and no longer have access. However, I appreciated the functionality, and still need Teams access to be able to join other Teams for collaboration or create my own. As such, I signed up for an Office 365 account this week. However, when I sign into Teams with this account, I have no option to create a team or join someone else's team. The only options are Activity, Chat, and Calendar. Even utilizing a link from a collaborator to join their Team does nothing. Is there a step that I am missing? I have read on multiple other sites and they all seem to point to restricted access. However, since this is a personal account, unrelated to any business, I do not see how this could be the case for me. Any insights on how to fix this or how to join my clients' Teams?3.5KViews0likes2CommentsAdding personal account is not allowed
Hello everyone Since MS is rolling out its new Teams UI and features like adding a personal account next to your business account, I would like to give it a try but sadly failed with following error message. The message is in german but it says something like: "Due to an organization policy, you cannot use 'xy@hotmail.com' with teams on this device." So yeah, which policy is here meant? I'm a Global Administrator in our M365 environment and it drives me crazy that I can't find this policy. Also, I can't find any similar problems or documentations about this. Can anyone help? Thanks very much.5.7KViews0likes5CommentsError message teams account
Hello, I have issues creating my Teams account. I tried to create one but I'm supposed to receive a confirmation mail with a pin code. I tried half a dozen of times but I never got the confirmation email. What I get is an error message when I try to enter my mail and password on the teams page. How can I solve this problem ? Many thanks in advance for your help. Best regards Mathilde de Stefano1.3KViews0likes2CommentsMail address used for more Microsoft accounts
Hi All, we have an issue when we try to connect in Teams using our business mail. As you can see, Teams says that they are 2 Microsoft account linked to the mail: one is the organization account and one is the personal account. We've try to delete the alias but it isn't possible because there is only one! Somebody have the same problem? Thank you in advance. simoneSolved1.6KViews1like4CommentsCalendar not available for OnPremise accounts
Hello everyone. I have this issue in my Teams deployment where Calendar app is not available for OnPremise accounts, only for accounts made online. AD is synced with Azure. What I mean about that is some time ago we had SFB deployed in the infrastructure. As it was not fully working I simply deleted it. Issues started with the old accounts as the external connectivity did not work with those accounts since there were still left Skype for Business attributes assigned to them, we cleared those. Since then that has been resolved. But now I don't seem to find the solution how to enable calendar functionality to those accounts. Where should I dig further? I use Office 365 E3 licenses, AD synced with Azure and Exchange 2016 CU7. Only on-premise accounts are used with on-premise mailboxes. Exchange server is on-premise, not configured as Hybrid.Solved2.2KViews0likes3CommentsI cannot sign in to the Teams app on desktop, nor on web.
I cannot sign in, after clicking on the button it displays a message "We couldn't sign you in. Please try again." and when I try again this repeats indefinitely. I have tried this both on Firefox and Edge and it doesn't resolve. Meanwhile, the app can't load at all, after some time it displays a message "We're sorry - we've run into an issue. Try again. If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in." which I have tried with the same result. However, Teams on mobile works just fine without any complications. I have also posted the same question on answers.microsoft.com and an agent advised me to post it here for more help.4.2KViews0likes4Comments
