Change Default Excel Settings
I ABHOR Aptos font. What's more, I can't stand that it's in size 11... why is all of this the default? I've been trying to figure out how to change the default Excel font settings so I don't have to keep toggling my preferences EVERY SINGLE CELL. All of the tutorials I've found have told me to go to "File - Options - General" But when I follow this flow, the "Options" only show me "Regional Settings" (to change my language preference) or "Reset changes pane". The only alternative is to change the "Sheet View", but this only applies to the current Sheet and needs to be recreated with every new sheet I make. I need directions on how to change the default font and size to my preference so every time I open an Excel spreadsheet, my preferences are the default.
User Access in excel sheets with macro's
Hi, I am seeking a way to prevent writing on a sheet at the user level without using a protect password method, since we use macro's to transfer data from one sheet to another even its protected. When attempting to transfer data from one sheet to another after protecting the sheet, an error 400 is generated. Could you please provide us the way to solve this. Dear Team, I am getting the error notification (image attached here) while I am trying to open the excel file from the one drive. Background info: This file was created and used by my previous colleague in her one drive. Then it was moved to moved to the common one drive. Then the error notification pops up (image attached) Error notification message: It referring to my old colleague one drive address. But currently we are using the file in the different one drive. So, how to sole this error and disable the old connection from previous one drive. Thanks in advance. Best Regards, Arul
Name Search in Excel
I have say one worksheet (say A) where there are names such as: 1. Aby Gomes 2. Jacob Hunter Streep 3. Gomes Jake Leo 4. Ms Margot Robert 5. Ms Selena Leo 6. Dianne Cobb Another worksheet (B) 1. Drake Joseph 2. Dianne Celeb 3. Peter Aby Gomes 4. Streep Jacob Hunter 5. Cobb, Dianne 6. Ms Leo 7. Drake Cobb 8. Nill Manderson Data in my excel files are like this, is there any way I can use a function to find if a certain name in worksheet A exists in worksheet B or not. I need to find a partial match (even if they are not the same person i just need the partial matching names highlighted) also is there any way to find by their calling names like Aby, Jacob, Leo etc?

I use a excel file (excel 2007) as a sort of home page. I made many hyperlinks in this file to get easy acces to all different file I use. I also have some hyperlinks in this file going to google sheets stored in google drive. This was working fine. From one certain moment the hyperlink was not working anymore. The link returned with an error page in google: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/6283888#gid=1193730499 Can somebody help/advice
