Using Microsoft Teams in work meetings I have noticed a very loud white noise that only appears when no one is talking. I know it is not about microphones, because I have been in meetings where everyone were muted and were waiting for the meeting to start and the white noise just kept on buzzing. The white noise starts as gentle but gets louder and louder if no one is talking until it reaches its peak as a very loud buzzing. I have tried to search for answers but only one I found was about "Teams certified microphone" which I do not possess, but Teams is the only voice communication service to cause this noise so I'm not convinced it's a microphone issue. HI, We are a small financial services firm and have pulled the trigger on the move to Teams voice. So far, it has been working somewhat, but by far, the biggest issue we're having is getting bank codes from banks when trying to log in. We can't change the number on file with the banks without getting an authentication code, and we can't get authentication codes because the AA times out the recording before we can pick it up. The way we have it set up is the main number (the number the banks have) is set to an AA. The auto-attendant allows callers to hit 0 to get an operator. Also, the AA times out after repeating the message 3 times and transfers to operator. If the operator doesn't answer after 15 seconds, the call forwards to hunt group which rings all users. If there was a way to set the AA to not repeat 3 times, it might work. There is no way to tell the banks to press 0 and we can't change the numbers (I was suggesting users change the numbers with the banks to their direct line) without getting the codes. Is there anywhere that gives updates specific to TEAMs voice new features? (voice specific as we have a separate server and voice team, so the majority of TEAMs related topics are not applicable to us in the voice team) Each time i login to the admin centre there seems to be new things added/changes, which unless i happen to see them onscreen, im not aware of; most recently call queues being able to divert to voicemail. this is one we have been waiting for but i only just stumbled across it when logged into the admin centre and checking an existing CQ setup. Not a question but thought this should share in the community with my blog post and recent finding. Most common issues after moving/migrating users to Teams from SfB were few, Teams license assigned or assigned license change not replicate on time or delay. License was Phone System since this was Direct Routing work. is enable for Enterprise voice. Whether the user assigned a Voice Routing Policy. Whether the user assigned a Teams Calling Policy. Registar Pool missing/ empty. Hello all, Trying to setup a new phone system using teams. We currently use hunt groups on the current phone system that dials a group of people, if no one has answered within a time period, it drops them to a voicemail box. Also, if someone declines a call, it doesn't ring them back. Is that possible in Teams? I have the CallQ working, but only testing with 2 people currently. What I want is if both of us decline the call, then it goes to the group voicemail box. Currently it just keeps ringing the same people over and over. Greetings, I am trying to set up a trial of MSFT 365 Business Voice for my company. Currently we are using 8x8 for PSTN calls but we want to switch to a MSFT only environment. Our tenant is located in the US, but one of our offices is located in Croatia. I got the trial licenses for Business Voice, Phone System and Domestic Calling plan. I've got a phone number assigned to one user successfully, also assigned him one of each of the trial licenses: Business Voice trial, Phone System Trial and Domestic Calling Plan trial. After doing all that, the user is still unreachable by phone from a regular 8x8 number which is located in the US. The user with the phone number is not reachable ("Couldn't complete the call, check you are using the correct number format...") from any phone number nor is he able to make any calls to anyone. If I do a regular Teams call to the number, the user can receive it. Our goal is to make the number reachable from any phone system, not just from Teams. I believe what we want is PSTN capability for the number, but do correct me if I am wrong. Hi Everyone Hoping to get some help with this. We are just starting to role out Microsoft Team as phone system. We have Exchange Online, Microsoft Team with 365 Phone system and are using Direct routing. On certain users if voicemail is left, they get notification on their email and on the Microsoft Team Activity notification but when you go to voicemail tab under Call. Its blank. I'm myself is not having this issue. Just want to see if anyone else have any idea what route cause is.12KViews1like6Comments
