The teams windows tray icon is supposed to show a new messages/activity badge. If you have multiple M365 accounts in Teams and there's a new message in the account that's not currently active, it does show the transient notification popup but the tray icon does not change. win11 24h2, Teams version 25094.310.3616.953119Views0likes3CommentsI see audio message listed under chat but when I open chat I see no audio messages

I have a copilot studio agent created using copilot studio. I want to upload this app and use in teams. How ever i need the mic button feature which is by default available in microsoft teams copilot app. So when user clicks this mic button the audio user speaks is automatically converted to text in message box. Is this possible to have a similar feature in custom app pointing to a copilot studio agent?20Views0likes0CommentsMouse button 'Back/Forward' not working in 'New Teams'
Though there are options to 'pop out' windows from Teams, Teams is a generally a single page app. As such, one of my most used features in 'Classic Teams' is switching back 'n forth between several 'tabs' I'm currently working with. Say I've got somebody on chat, but then have to quickly check something in Teams, then go back to chat. In Classic Teams this works just fine using the mouse's back & forward buttons. In 'New' Teams, this no longer registers any action at all. I assume the feature still exists, since left of the search bar there are still the back/forward UI buttons. But moving the mouse over for every time you need to switch back and forth is a lot slower and less intuitive than just using the mouse buttons. Current behavior: Mouse 'back'/'forward' buttons do not work in 'New Teams' Expected behavior: Mouse 'back/forward' buttons register the 'back' and 'forward' navigation commands as they did in 'Classic' Teams6.8KViews30likes23CommentsTeams stuck in a launch+crash loop
For about a week now, my desktop Teams client is stuck in a loop where it will follow these steps: Teams will start Within ten seconds, it will render the message "There was a glitch and we're recovering" It will restart (repeat ~3x) It will finally show a window that says "There is a glitch. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please sign in again" Since this bug has occurred, I have been completely unable to use the desktop client. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall Teams twice at this point.10KViews0likes7CommentsPlease tell me how to disable the Pin Copilot message

CoPilot wrote this post... in fact its proposed title was New Teams Interface – Missing Basic Functionality & Creating Chaos for Admins, so I think it's sensing a bit of annoyance at the new UI... I’m posting this out of sheer frustration after wrestling with the new Microsoft Teams layout. I'm an IT admin responsible for managing Teams across multiple users, and the recent interface update has made that nearly impossible. Key issue: You can no longer pin or favourite entire teams—only individual channels. This is a huge regression in usability. For power users and admins, being able to organize entire teams was essential. Now, everything’s buried under scattered views, vague icons, and non-intuitive menus. I’ve gone through every menu and setting imaginable. “Show,” “Pin,” “Back to classic”—none of it helps because Microsoft simply removed the feature. Even Copilot (Microsoft's own AI tool) couldn’t make sense of what was missing until we both realized the function was outright gone. That’s saying something. This change is actively hurting productivity for both end users and those of us tasked with supporting them. Updates should make things better—not hide or remove critical features without proper notice or alternatives. Microsoft, please rethink this. Stop redesigning without considering the real-world implications for businesses trying to stay organized. — If others are feeling the same pain, let’s get this some visibility. This problem is baffling me completely, and I've worked in IT Application support for almost 40 years. I hope someone can help me resolve it. A family member has a very important family court hearing to attend via Teams in a few weeks so I'd like to help her out. This is a Lenovo laptop (Ideapad 330S-14IKB) with a built in SunplusIT webcam. The camera works perfectly in Google Meet and Zoom, but not in Teams. I can see my own video feed on my screen but the other Teams meeting users cannot see my image. The camera is enabled in Teams. Some things I have already tried: Updated webcam driver from Windows Updated webcam driver directly from Lenovo site Ensured Windows 11 is up to date Checked privacy settings to ensure Teams app is permitted to use camera Uninstalled any other apps (e.g. Zoom, Skype) that may be using the camera Cleared Teams cache folders and restarted Uninstalled and reinstalled Teams Performed a partial Windows reset, retaining user data Performed a full Windows reset, erasing the hard drive Some other symptoms and things I've noted Camera works fine on my own Teams window and I can see my own image Camera transmits video correctly when the other party is on Android Camera stops transmitting video when other party is using Windows The same problem occurs using Teams in a browser web app, with either Edge or Chrome Screen sharing works fine Camera works fine in Google Meet (web) and Zoom (app) The problem persists if I log into the laptop with another user account The laptop has a fresh install of Office 365 What on earth is happening and what else can I try? I'm very technical but this has beaten me!2.6KViews1like2Comments
