Restore Name / Timestamp Copy/Paste FEATURE in MS Teams
The ability for copy / paste to carry the sender's name and the timestamp of the comms in MS Teams was removed a while ago. Its seriously a ridiculous thing to fully remove. There are many many industries and many many use cases where having the name and timestamp EASILY copy / paste-able is NEEDED. Your devs should update with an option in settings to include Name and Timestamp on copy/paste actions in Teams. Going through multiple windows / options screens each time I want to pass along critical information is tiresome and annoying. Ad-hoc snip-it SS are as well. How narrow-sighted this change was is seriously concerning coming out of a multi-billion dollar company.
Teams Reconnecting
Every time I reconnect to Teams I get the following message at the top of my Teams windows "Loading latest updates... in the meantime, you can still send and respond to messages". The message does not go away. It does not make it clear whether if I can really send and respond to messages. Does anyone have insight to how this behavior works?
Teams Meeting invite (RSVP) not showing other meetings
We are working with Microsoft for some time (>100 days) on an issue regarding meeting invites in Teams, where the first time opening such an invite it is not showing conflicting or adjacent meetings. This can easily result in people getting "double booked" because they trust what Teams shows them. We can reproduce this anytime and in at least 3 tenants and I would like to know if other users/tenants recognize this. Some things to take into account: You shouldn't have opened the week this meeting is scheduled in earlier today, as it probably some sort of caching mechanism/issue. It only happens the first time you click on the RSVP option in teams. We tested with/without MCAS, same result. It also happens in a Teams browser session. How to reproduce: Send an invite for a meeting, to happen in e.g. 4 weeks, make sure there are conflicting/adjacent at that timespan. Wait for the invite to appear in the Teams activity (do not check it in Outlook, as that will make the test fail). When you click in the Teams on the invite, click on the RSVP option and check what you see (calendar is free it seems): Click the X to close this RSVP popup and click the RSVP again (now the other meetings are shown): I am really curious if other users can reproduce this.... Currently in Teams it shows you if you have unread chats in your taskbar notification icon (small red bell). But to mark that notification as read you have to open up Teams and then highlight the conversation to mark it as 'Read'. Does anyone know if there is a way, or given thought to building a way, to have more control over the notification pop-up that would allow you to control how long the notification displays when a new chat is received and to also add a button that would allow you to mark the chat as read rather than opening the entire Teams application? I'm not seeing this ability in either the "Teams built-in" or "Windows" notification styles.' Thank you for your consideration! Chris
bug: no tray icon notification badge for new messages in the account not currently active.
The teams windows tray icon is supposed to show a new messages/activity badge. If you have multiple M365 accounts in Teams and there's a new message in the account that's not currently active, it does show the transient notification popup but the tray icon does not change. win11 24h2, Teams version 25094.310.3616.953
I see audio message listed under chat but when I open chat I see no audio messages
The first chat says audio message but when I click I don't see any audio message This is on samsung galaxy phone android On teams for web see something else This is what shows up under teams for web but still I don't know how to play the audio
Enable mic option in custom teams app
I have a copilot studio agent created using copilot studio. I want to upload this app and use in teams. How ever i need the mic button feature which is by default available in microsoft teams copilot app. So when user clicks this mic button the audio user speaks is automatically converted to text in message box. Is this possible to have a similar feature in custom app pointing to a copilot studio agent?
Mouse button 'Back/Forward' not working in 'New Teams'
Though there are options to 'pop out' windows from Teams, Teams is a generally a single page app. As such, one of my most used features in 'Classic Teams' is switching back 'n forth between several 'tabs' I'm currently working with. Say I've got somebody on chat, but then have to quickly check something in Teams, then go back to chat. In Classic Teams this works just fine using the mouse's back & forward buttons. In 'New' Teams, this no longer registers any action at all. I assume the feature still exists, since left of the search bar there are still the back/forward UI buttons. But moving the mouse over for every time you need to switch back and forth is a lot slower and less intuitive than just using the mouse buttons. Current behavior: Mouse 'back'/'forward' buttons do not work in 'New Teams' Expected behavior: Mouse 'back/forward' buttons register the 'back' and 'forward' navigation commands as they did in 'Classic' Teams
