Teams Admin Center Withdraws Dark Mode Support
Microsoft announced on August 17 that they are not proceeding with the implementation of dark mode support in the Teams Admin center. The news came as a surprise, but it’s an indication of the lack of user interface consistency across the different Microsoft 365 administrative consoles. Token handling is another example. Guests users unable to access Teams when invited through Teams Admin centre
Issue: Adding invited (guest) user to teams through Teams Admin center seems to not work properly. When invited guest tries to login through web client or the desktop client he/she gets the following error: "You're not on Teams yet, but you can set it up for your organization." When checking the invited user's team member role in the Teams client, the invited (guest) user appears as Member. If user is invited by the team owner through the client, everything works as it should and the user appears as Guest. This picture below contains two (guest) users. Linda is invited through Teams Admin center and another one is invited from the Teams Client. Linda's role is falsely showing Member. Linda is showing as Guest in the Teams Admin center and in the Powershell queries. Microsoft 365 tenants using Teams group policy assignments to assign policies to user accounts now have a much larger range of policies to choose from, even if assignments can only be made through PowerShell for the moment. New options to handle teams expiration and restoration are available in the Teams admin center. Having the options in the TAC is useful even if there’s no new magic involved because it’s possible to perform these operations using other Microsoft 365 consoles or programmatically with PowerShell or Graph API requests. Audit for Tenant Level Changes in MS Teams
Hello All Is there any to find out, whihc team adminstrator has done / performed the changes in Teams Admin center. Say for Eg : Some of the Teams admin removed the domain from the external allowed list in TAC I would like know , who done the changes in tenant level. I have searched , in audit logs its not helpfull
Prevent folder creation in Onedrive when new channel is created in Teams
We are seriously annoyed. Being familiar with the "folder chaos" companies can sink into over time, we have a very strict folder structure in order to minimize redundancy. However, having migrated to Microsoft just a few days ago, we are seriously annoyed that every time we create a Teams channel, a corresponding folder is created in Onedrive. Just because we want a channel about where to go for lunch, we don't necessarily want a lunch folder on our Onedrive. It just really messes things up!!! How can I prevent this from happening?Unable to add custom apps in Teams Admin Center
Hi all, Since a few days I'm not able anymore to upload custom apps in the Teams Admin Center. When I try to upload the Viva Connections zip file, created with PowerShell, I see the error 'we can't upload the app. Try again'. We use this quite a lot and never had issues. Anyone else experiencing the same? Has something been changed? Thanks!
