Is it possible to add a room/resource at Bookings as a staff member? We're trying to setup a booking page where people can book a service (e.g. a meeting) in room (i.e. a room setup as a staff member). When creating a new staff member I get the option to add any of the rooms/resources in the "add people" field. This ticks the "events on office 365 affect availability" option. However after I save the staff member and go back into the record, it now shows as a "guest" (where it originally was "viewer") and the "events on office 365 affect availability" option is no longer ticked and greyed out as an option. Is there a way to do this? Or do "staff" have to be real users to sync availability?23KViews1like11CommentsChange status of staff and stop email updates to admin
I have recently set up Microsoft Bookings for my company. I have three issues: I am set up as an admin. When I create a services page I do not select myself as available. But under STAFF, it shows my status as BOOKABLE. Granted I do not show up as a selection on the bookings page, but I still get email updates when another team member receives a booking request. First, I do not want to be BOOKABLE, and second, I do not want email updates when a staff member receives an appointment request. We have about 30 staff members and that will become overwhelming. Third, I have created an admin for each region. I want them to receive an email when someone books an appt. with their staff. I don't understand why they, as an admin, are not receiving the emails when I am.14KViews3likes5CommentsSelect staff (Optional) can't be turned off
We offer different services, where we want to book our staff, but we do this manually. So we don't want our customers to choose who they talk to. This option is disabled in our service, but still shows in one of our services. If I turn it on in our other service, it shows. When I turn it off, it doesn't show again. With another service, I repeat the same steps, but the option still shows when customers can place a booking in our calender. Is this a bug or can this be fixed elsewhere?8KViews0likes14CommentsAvailability of Staff and Resources (Rooms)
How can I manage that services can only be booked when at that a certain time a certain number of staff members and a room (managed as a resource within Office 365) are available? Basically, this is only about the cross checking of several outlook calendars. I cannot find the setting but please - these "features" are so basic that I really do not believe that Microsoft is so incapable or brazen not to offer them in a paid service.1.4KViews0likes3CommentsStaff Availability
Ok so i have 5 staff available to book, i have services set up at 1 hour sessions with a 30 minute buffer after the session. So if a staffs hours are 9-5 it should show available slots as 9:00 10:30 12:00 13:30 and 15:00.... sometimes it does this but sometimes it shows say 2 or 3 of these not all 5 ? sometimes it makes up randoms like 12:30 or 14:30... when they're outlook Calendar is completely free ?? Also some of the staff work different hours so have different slots available.. if you select ANYONE instead of specific staff it doesn't show the times all 5 people have ? just a seemingly random selection ? of their times ? Is this how reliable it is and i need a new system ? or am i doing something blatantly wrong in how I've set it all up ?970Views0likes0CommentsCan't disable Anyone in the staff dropdown
Hello, Could you help me understand how to disable 'Anyone' option in the staff dropdown. I would like the customers to choose any staff member, but I don't want to give them an option to select 'Anyone' option (which randomly picks someone). Thanks!407Views0likes1CommentUnable to add Staff to a Bookings Business
Hi! I manage a Booking page that has ~50 staff members that is used for scheduling IT support. For the last week I've been unable to add staff to the business because the hours for the staff doesn't load. Where I would normally be able to select the hours that the staff member is available it is instead blank and empty there. If I select use business hours and try and add the staff member I get the response - 'The meeting hours aren't correct. Please check for overlapping times or a start time that comes after an end time'. If anyone knows how to resolve this issue please let me know.399Views2likes6CommentsAppointments Scheduled in Calendar View not being sent to staff and not showing in Sent folder
When creating an appointment via the Calendar view there is no email sent to the staff informing them of the appointment. The appointment shows up on their calendar. There is also no email saved in the "Sent" folder of the mailbox.251Views0likes0CommentsHow do Team Members set their availability
When creating a Shared Bookings Page, how do I have team members set their own availability? With the amount of team member I need, it isn't possible to have a person set to update availability, since our staff's availability changes weekly. On Microsoft's https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/bookings/staff-roles?view=o365-worldwide#staff-roles it states that Team Members "Can manage bookings on their own calendar and their availability in the booking mailbox." How do they get to the booking mailbox to manage their availability?Solved214Views0likes4Comments
