Problem with editing files in Onedrive in a SharePoint library linked to in Onedrive Since yesterday, all employees have been reporting that they cannot edit files in a SharePoint library linked to in Onedrive. When employees edit files or add files, an error message appears stating that file access is denied. You must provide administrator permissions. This problem only exists when accessing files in Onedrive. This problem does not exist in SharePoint itself. There the files can be edited as usual. What could be the cause here?91Views0likes2CommentsDisable Creation of Shared Libraries
Hello, I am in the process of rolling out SharePoint Online and OneDrive for our organization. I do not want end users to have the ability to create new SharePoint sites. I have disabled this within the SharePoint admin console, however users can still create Shared Libraries from their OneDrive accounts which in turn creates a new SharePoint site. My question is, as an Administrator is there the ability to disable this button from appearing on peoples OneDrive accounts? Thanks, Tony13KViews0likes8CommentsOneDrive takes up to 10 minutes to be ready
Hello all, we are facing the problem that OneDrive for Business takes up tp 10 minutes before files can be used that were not downloaded before. After each logon (service restart) its the same for all users. Basically we only have the personal OneDrive for Business and 3 SPO document libraries synced to each user. Did anyone faces the same or some similar problem? If we assing a user Owner permissions to the SPO site collection OneDrive for Business is ready within seconds.....thats the strange thing. ALso with fiddler/Wireshark we cannot see anything within this 10 minutes. At first Onedrive for Business logges on normally and also fire for each SPO document library a API call...after that the magic 10 minutes noting happens. Hello, I want to use OneDrive 4 Business to sync some Sharepoint Online libraries in the laptops of 1000 users with an Office 365 licence. These laptops use Windows 7 and Office 2010. Do you know if it possible and efficient to work together with these softwares (OneDrive4Business + Office2010)? Did Microsoft publish any technical information about this topic (I have spend 2 hours googling with no success)? Thank you very much in advance.Solved1.2KViews0likes1CommentOneDrive menu "Shared by me" - SharePoint files not showing up
Hello, I noticed that files I shared from SPO with others do not show up in the "Shared by me" menu in the OneDrive WebGUI. I hope that's the correct translation as we're using German. Please see the following screenshot: So the issue is that files that I share from a SPO site collection do not show up here as I would expect. Files from SPO that were shared with me do appear in the other tab "Shared with me" as expected. Moreover, the text in marked with the red rectangle says:"Click on "New" to add items." Well, there's no such button. What's it for? Thanks for your help.3.9KViews0likes7CommentsResetting the file handler cache Failed

Is anyone else getting the error "This site is read-only. You can't make any changes to files or folders on this site." I receive this error through the One Drive app when syncing down a SharePoint document library with columns that are required. I also did remove those columns to have required values (still kept them on the DL - I understand they don't display in the file explorer) and attempted to re-sync and synced the library and did so without issue. Another facet of this error - the Document Library on SharePoint Online with columns as required; if I were to drag and drop from the file explorer, the Document Library will know if there are required fields and prompt me by revealing the right side pane and fill that information in before adding it to the library. I have attached that screenshot as well.8.1KViews0likes1CommentUsers with OneDrive for Business and SharePoint showing up twice in Word
I have a few users where OneDrive for Business and SharePoint show up twice in the File tab. How do you remove the other user? I tried having them sign out and back in to Office and it may go away for a bit but returns later. See image for example of one user. Thanks in Advance!!!2.8KViews0likes5Comments
