Why can I not see the 'People' section in Photos on the OneDrive app that is depicted in the following Microsoft support topic titled 'Group photos by people'. The purpose is to enable users to find photos that have particular people in them. Great feature, just can't find it in my OneDrive apps on either my Business or Personal Microsoft 365 services? Group photos by people - Microsoft Support Is this a new feature that hasn't been rolled out yet, and if so when is it coming?19KViews2likes8CommentsHow to transfer all photos from OneDrive into a hard drive?
Need to transfer all photos from OneDrive into a hard drive. I'm almost running out of space on OneDrive, and I want to find a way to quickly download all of them somewhere, before deleting them from the cloud. Thing is, it seems like I have to scroll and drag click all of the photos; 3 years worth of them, which is really tedious to do. I was wondering if there was an easier way to just download all of them somewhere? Note that this isn't about the OneDrive files, it's the OneDrive photos section, which I don't think you could sync to your computer. I'm using a MacBook Air M1 2021, if it helps. Thanks!22KViews0likes3CommentsCan we please have chronological sorting by file creation date in Albums.
Onedrive has come on leaps and bounds in the last 5-6 years, but there are some things missing that make me scratch my head and think, yeah, maybe I am the only one that wants this feature. But, sorting photos by file creation date in albums is not one of those things. It is one of the biggest complaints I see and it's been a problem for ages. Nearly everyone would like the ability to create an album, share it, and start filling it with photos so they display in a CHRONOLOGICAL order. Strangely, the iOS (can't speak for Android) app seems to honour this. Browsers = no. So anyone without the App opens the link in the browser and is met with a sea of randomly ordered photos. It just looks unprofessional, and this isn't some kind of 'free best endeavours' SW either. Yes, I have tried the basic album sort-order / grid / waterfall thing to no avail; it makes no difference - photos are still randomly-ordered. Surely it can't be that difficult to implement a proper sort criteria - it works in Files? DBS.8.2KViews2likes4CommentsSamsung Motion Photos on OneDrive
The photos from my Samsung S23 Ultra are automatically synced to OneDrive. Several sources claim that Samsung Motion Photos can be viewed on the OneDrive.com website, but I am not able to view anything other than the final (key) frame. Other sources claim that Samsung Motion Photos stored in OneDrive can be viewed in the MS Photos app on Windows. Photos does indeed seem to recognize motion photos, but clicking on the provided "MOTION" button does not play the 3 second video. Instead the screen goes dark for 3 seconds and then redisplays the final (key) frame. Am I doing something wrong? Have OneDrive.com or MS Photos been downgraded to remove this functionality? How can I best view (or, even better edit) my motion photos on a PC running Windows 10?316Views0likes0CommentsOrganizing Photos

I have recently made a number of albums from within the OneDrive photos desktop app, but I am unable to see them anywhere other than the onedrive "photos" tab, attach them to an email or view them from within the onedrive "pictures" files directory. I therefore have a number of folders in the onedrive: pictures folders, but also a number in the onedrive: photos: album that do not show in either section - why is that?4.3KViews0likes1CommentIssues with Onedrive photos via website
Hello I have noticed a lot of changes lately that have impacted how I use Onedrive with regards to photos on the web portal. Don't know if this is on purpose or an issue that needs fixing? 1. If I create a new folder and upload photos to it, many times the photo thumbnails are broken. Sometimes deleting and reuploading fixes this but often it doesn't. When clicking a photo with a broken thumbnail it offers to download to my computer instead of opening on screen. 2. there used to be an option when selecting "Photo" view "Add as cover". I only see this now for older folders I've created not my newer folders. 3. On older folders with photos I've created I can click a single photo and choose 'Add to album', this option is now only available as applying to an entire folder, this is definitely not desired as I like to split up folders into multiple albums depending on the audience. 4. When clicking a single photo and choosing the i button for information I used to be able to see the embedded keywords or tags embedded in the photo metadata. This no longer appears.1KViews1like0Comments
