If I open the share options in Teams for a jpg photo, it does not show an option to "Save" the photo. I need to save it to my iOS Photos, but cannot. Any help greatly appreciated! I am on an iPhone 11 Pro Max, running the latest iOS 13 software and the most up to date Teams app.57KViews2likes13CommentsHow to transfer all photos from OneDrive into a hard drive?
Need to transfer all photos from OneDrive into a hard drive. I'm almost running out of space on OneDrive, and I want to find a way to quickly download all of them somewhere, before deleting them from the cloud. Thing is, it seems like I have to scroll and drag click all of the photos; 3 years worth of them, which is really tedious to do. I was wondering if there was an easier way to just download all of them somewhere? Note that this isn't about the OneDrive files, it's the OneDrive photos section, which I don't think you could sync to your computer. I'm using a MacBook Air M1 2021, if it helps. Thanks!36KViews0likes6CommentsPeople Section in Photos on OneDrive app
Why can I not see the 'People' section in Photos on the OneDrive app that is depicted in the following Microsoft support topic titled 'Group photos by people'. The purpose is to enable users to find photos that have particular people in them. Great feature, just can't find it in my OneDrive apps on either my Business or Personal Microsoft 365 services? https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/group-photos-by-people-21065f48-c746-48ad-a98a-cbe4631631bc Is this a new feature that hasn't been rolled out yet, and if so when is it coming?22KViews3likes10CommentsCan we please have chronological sorting by file creation date in Albums.
Onedrive has come on leaps and bounds in the last 5-6 years, but there are some things missing that make me scratch my head and think, yeah, maybe I am the only one that wants this feature. But, sorting photos by file creation date in albums is not one of those things. It is one of the biggest complaints I see and it's been a problem for ages. Nearly everyone would like the ability to create an album, share it, and start filling it with photos so they display in a CHRONOLOGICAL order. Strangely, the iOS (can't speak for Android) app seems to honour this. Browsers = no. So anyone without the App opens the link in the browser and is met with a sea of randomly ordered photos. It just looks unprofessional, and this isn't some kind of 'free best endeavours' SW either. Yes, I have tried the basic album sort-order / grid / waterfall thing to no avail; it makes no difference - photos are still randomly-ordered. Surely it can't be that difficult to implement a proper sort criteria - it works in Files? DBS.9KViews4likes4CommentsPhotos app needs to support and play APNG image file format
Currently when you open an Animated PNG file with Photos app, you see a still image, it has no animation. opening the same image in a browser shows the animation. Photos app needs to be able to fully support APNG image files and show their animation. I have recently made a number of albums from within the OneDrive photos desktop app, but I am unable to see them anywhere other than the onedrive "photos" tab, attach them to an email or view them from within the onedrive "pictures" files directory. I therefore have a number of folders in the onedrive: pictures folders, but also a number in the onedrive: photos: album that do not show in either section - why is that?4.8KViews0likes1CommentiOS issue uploading photos to files
Hello! We are having some issues uploading photos under the files tab in Teams. It looks like it's uploading and we get no error message but the file never appears. I get an email notification saying that there's a new file with the name ~tmpBFXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.jpg in the library but there's no file. I've tried changing the photo format to .jpeg and turned off live photos but to no avail. If you post a photo in the 'Posts' page it works fine. Anyone experienced something similar? iOS: 13.6.1 Teams: 2.0.202.3KViews0likes1CommentPhotos app still downloads OneDrive album pictures when the folders are set to be available offline
Photos app still downloads OneDrive album pictures even when the folders are set to be available offline I have 4 albums created on my OneDrive (personal), each has around 1000 pictures in them. each album represents a folder with the same name in my OneDrive. so basically I put my photos in 4 folders and used OneDrive's feature to automatically create 4 albums from those 4 folders, it's a nice feature. so because I need to have access to those photos in the folders and albums, I marked those folders in OneDrive to be always available offline. so OneDrive started downloading gigabytes and made all of those pictures available offline for me on disk. now in the Windows 10 Photos app, I go to the albums section and I can see my albums that I had created before in OneDrive, but I still have to wait for each photo to be downloaded and then loaded for me which obviously takes a lot of time. for some reason, Photos app doesn't or can't tell that those pictures (and their albums respectively) are already downloaded on disk and marked to be always available offline in OneDrive folder. Hello, Some Context of Problem Due to covid, my assessors have requested that I submit my evidence of coursework as attachments, within a limitation of submitting 15 files. Because some of this evidence has to be screen grabbed, the limitations of copy/pasting them inside a word document would limit the viewable resolution (text heavy therefore lots of small font), as well as word processors default with page breaks, margins etc. Therefore I saved my evidence as .jpgs for reasons explained below. I purchased screen manipulation software https://www.techsmith.com/, to stitch my evidence together to meet the maximum 15 pieces of evidence requirements, whilst also being able to annotate my work, another requirement set by my assessors. Issues With Viewing .jpgs Using Windows 10 Photos When my .jpg files were compiled and completed, I was able to zoom in with the Windows 10 Photos app, and scroll with a high fidelity of resolution, back at the end of June 2021 when I last properly revisited them. However due to waiting for the new academic year, my files could not be reviewed until now (October 2021). It seems Windows 10 Photos can't magnify up to 100% anymore, or view the files zoomed in to the degree I used to, which has prompted my assessors (who are likely using Windows 10 systems also) to be having the same issue (possibly?), but probably assume an caused at my end, and would not know this might be affecting other Windows 10 computers, if it is. May I ask if anyone else is having issues with magnifying .jpgs with Windows 10 Photos, that can't reach 100%, or is anyone aware of a bug with the Photo software? Troubleshooting Using Other Image Viewers I've saved the .jpgs to my Google drive, and can view them at close up without issues using the web image viewer, and have even downloaded software to bring back the previous Windows Photo Viewer (for Windows 7/8), which works fine also. Uninstalling / Reinstalling Photos App I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Photos app also, but to no avail. Perhaps if the app has been updated recently or the past few months, the update has caused this bug to occur (if it is not just me). Lastly This issue will really only be noticeable to others if they have a long or large file .jpg file, which is an unusual method of recording evidence.
