Microsoft 365 Copilot Admin
31 TopicsFailed to Publish Copilot Studio Agent
Hello! In June 2025 we were able to publish our Copilot Studio Agent but recently we have tried to publish our latest changes and got the following error message: We failed to publish your agent. Try publishing again later. Dynamics 365 Contact Center is not provisioned in the given environment. Telephony and NLU+ features require Dynamics 365 Contact Center to be enabled. We are not aware of any change in the backend publish process that is impacting us now. Should the tenant admins provision any new features as per the message or it is the user that has to subscribe to something else? Thanks in advanceSolved222Views0likes6CommentsCopilot - Your education account is not yet supported
University sysadmin here. An increasing number of users with A5 licenses (Copilot Chat) are receiving the following error when trying to access https://copilot.microsoft.com/ "Continue as a guest or sign in with a personal account instead. Your education account <email address> is not yet supported." Is not impacting all users and seems to be transient. Cornell is also reporting the issue: https://itservicealerts.hosting.cornell.edu/view/7585 Workaround: User can sign in to Microsoft Teams and access the Copilot app without issue. -Matt232Views0likes0CommentsDownload links not working

Hi, Anyone who knows how to enable web search in Microsoft 365 Copilot chat?, We've already set like this below. Set both Microsoft 365 E5 and Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses to all users. set policy on config.office.com as "allow web search in copilot" as the option "Enabling both Microsoft 365 copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot chat" But unfortunately , If I go to work Microsoft 365 copilot section in teams, web searh looked greyed out, and If I go to web Microsoft 365 copilot section even if I try to search contents, it shows web search is offline. Do you have this symptoms? If you have any experience of this , please share with this Thx148Views0likes2CommentsCustom Instructions disappeared
Last week, I discovered the "Custom Instructions" personalization option in M365 Copilot chat and, after some trial and error, got things dialed in such a way that the chat experience got 10x better for my use cases. Today, I noticed that the chat responses had reverted back to my pre-customization experience and when I went to verify my prompt was still being applied I found that the setting was no longer there... where I used to be about to got to Settings -> Custom Instructions, the only option under Settings now is "Manage Copilot agents with external data access." Frankly, now that I've had a taste of it, the "normal" Copilot experience is just frustrating me... like to the point where I'm about to start a ChatGPT trial to see if we can just move over to that tool before our Copilot renew comes up. How can I bring that "Custom Instructions" option back?98Views0likes1CommentSeamless Context Retention Between Voice and Text Modes in Copilot
בקשת שיפור: שימור הקשר בין מצב קולי לצ'אט כתוב ב־Copilot מאת: מיכאל, MS MVP (ישראל) נושא: שיחה רציפה והקשר נשמר בין קול לכתב תיוגים: Copilot, VoiceChat, ContextRetention, CrossModeSync, AI usability, Excel integration, MS MVP, User Experience, Productivity, Accessibility Feedback Request: Seamless Context Retention Between Voice and Text Modes in Copilot From: Michael, MS MVP (Israel) Topic: Improve continuity and preserve context when switching between voice and text conversations in Copilot Tags: Copilot, VoiceChat, ContextRetention, CrossModeSync, AI usability, Excel integration, MS MVP, User Experience, Productivity, Accessibility Description: Currently, when transitioning between voice and text modes in Copilot, the ongoing conversation context is lost, resulting in a fresh and disconnected session. This poses challenges for users engaged in technical workflows (e.g., Excel functions, coding steps, formula exploration), where discussion begins in voice and requires visual follow-up in text — yet the system fails to remember what was just discussed. Use Case: A user verbally asks for help creating a complex Excel formula. After several minutes of voice dialog, they switch to text mode to view and refine the formula — only to discover that Copilot no longer remembers the earlier voice interaction, forcing redundant explanation and a break in continuity. Suggested Improvements: Enable persistent conversation memory across modes Automatically bring recent voice summary into the next text session Introduce an intelligent switch that allows users to move from voice to text (and back) with full context preserved Support visual rendering (e.g., formulas, graphs) within voice sessions Value to Users: This improvement would dramatically boost workflow efficiency, reduce friction in technical tasks, and allow users to engage naturally — choosing the mode best suited to their needs without sacrificing consistency. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to explore this idea further. I’d be happy to help. Hello, I had few questions about Copilot Studio Tenant License and also its Copilot Studio User License, and any insights or confirmations would be great. We are trying to Question 1. I read on the documentation that Copliot Studio User License needs to be assigned to users to allow them to create Agents (after purchasing Copliot Studio Tenant License). Is this "User License" free to assign to users and is there a limit? Question 2. Can users with Copilot Studio User License create an Agent and published to this below Copliot Chat page? When publishing an Agent, can we only make it available to a group of users? My understanding is Agent's response made to any users will deduct from monthly 25,000 cap Question 3. In SharePoint Online, I know users with Microsoft 365 Copliot License will see this Copilot button at top-right corner and use Agents... Is it possible to create Agents and deploy to SharePoint Online sites under Copliot Studio Tenant/User License? If so, will users then see the same Copliot button and interact with Agents? Question 4. I have Microsoft 365 Copliot License and I love how it summarizes after a Teams meeting. If I remove that M365 Copliot License and get the company gets Copilot Studio Tenant License, will I still get a summary?252Views1like1CommentWeb Content toggle is now missing
Hi All- Starting yesterday, the toggle for "web content" in m365 Copilot has disappeared. And when searching for content, we see this alert: "Your organization has turned off web search. Copilot responses won't include the latest data from the web." No changes have been made on our end and we have the Cloud Policy for "Allow web search in Copilot" enabled. Anyone else having issues?315Views2likes3CommentsWhat's difference creating Agent from Copilot page vs from Copilot Studio -> Copilot for M365?
Hello, I am learning about Copilot and was very confused by these two different ways to do it. My understanding is both are "Declarative Agents" which lets the Microsoft 365 Copilot do the most heavy lifting. Method 1. First way is to go to Copilot page and clicking 'Create an Agent' w3 Method 2: Going to Copilot Studio -> Agents -> Copilot for Microsoft 365 -> New Agent (Couldn't find a screenshot) Q1. Anyway, first, I created an Agent using the first Method 1 above, and now I see it on the Copilot page under 'Agents' section. However, when I go to Copilot Studio -> Agents -> Copilot for Microsoft 365, I don't see that Agent there. Is this normal and intended? Q2. Is an Agent created using the Method 1 only available to people who have Copilot license? (as long as they are shared; I see options are only me, anyone in the organization, and specific users in the organization) Q3. Could you please confirm agents created using either way above are both "Declarative Agents"? Sorry for the newbie questions in advance... I took the course MS-4010 and reviewed several posts but still confusing...1.3KViews4likes3Comments
