8 Topicsteams and bulk adding of members
When I set up a new team or a channel under a team, I noticed that I have to add each name one at a time. It's really tedious, and it seems like an easy add just to cut and paste a bunch of emails from a spreadsheet into this (you can do this in outlook to send to a large distro). Why are bulk adds in teams so difficult?Solved439KViews7likes28CommentsMember Count in Teams Room is incorrect
I have created a new Teams Room with several Shared channels, each will have different members. I added the first group of owners and members yesterday, however when I go into the Manage Team or Manage Channel to view the members, the count is incorrect. For example, for the Shared Channel, the count says 8 members, but there are only 5 and there should only be 5. I have tried clearing the cache, quitting Teams, using the web and client version, adding and removing members and using the analytics tab hoping the O365 would be updated, but nothing is working. Would like to have custom fields to be added to members of a channel (private) or the ability to export and keep in sync the channel members with a SharePoint List that has additional columns of information. Specifically the Role the Member has for the Channel and the % of allocated time expected. Can't find a clean way to do this and I do not code.Solved2.2KViews1like2CommentsTeam members getting deleted
Hi, I just started my first team a few days ago. I have added quite a few members, but every now and then, I see that some that are missing from the members list, and then I find on the feed that it says I deleted them, which I definitely did not. What is happenening? Do I need to re-add them or will they automatically be added back the next time they try to log-in? How do I keep this from happening? I am looking for a script that will get all the members of a Team and list the date they joined. We have a community team that is open and we are looking to pull a report each month that includes the Joined Date. I've tried some exchange commands and some teams commands but when I pipe any of them to FL there is no dates that can be attributed to joined. Commands I have tried thus far: Get-UnifiedGroupLinks Get-TeamSolved4.8KViews0likes2CommentsGuest accounts unwanted
We have been trying to set up teams free and in general it works great. We are up to about 80 users and they are all external email customers (@gmail, @hotmail, @yahoo, etc). Out of those users we have about 10 users that are assigned as guest and not members. We have not found a way to change this. We only want members and owners in Teams. Guest users cannot be made into an owner or member. We have tried to delete those accounts on both Teams and Azure. They still remain as add as guest only and not a member.2.2KViews0likes8CommentsCan't add members to public channel
I see a similar post about not being able to add members to private channels, but I am having the issue only for public channels. When I create a public channel, it doesn't give me the option to add members, and once it is created, I don't have the option within the channel either. I do have the ability to add members to the private channels I create. Help!3.8KViews0likes1CommentDisplay bug in the Team Management Administration page
Hi, I just noticed this bug when sorting the members of a Team : The Role Column doesn't follow when sorting other columns (and the Role Column sorting doesn't work anyway), which can lead to mistakes when manipulating roles. It also can be dangerous when adding a new member and then set it as an owner, because you can assign the role to the wrong member.Solved2KViews1like4Comments
