I noticed that during live events that when someone calls into a audio conference number, they are marked as presenter on the producer screen... is there not a way for attendees to call in?26KViews1like2CommentsUnable to run a Microsoft Teams Live Event
Hi All, As an Office 365 admin, I am unable to make Microsoft Teams Live Event option work. The issue is that 'Public' option is disabled. I am the Office 365 admin and have Office 365 E3, Stream and Teams licenses yet I am unable to host live event. Is there anything I need to enable or disable? Thank you for your support.16KViews0likes10CommentsLive Event Guest user add new background
Hi, A user has been added as a guest to our tenant, so that they can present in our Teams Live Event. All of this has been set up correctly, the user can enter as a presenter and everything is as expected. However, the user needs to add their own background to their video feed, to keep everyone's backgrounds consistent. We have instructions on how to do this, by clicking the "Add new" button at the top of the background settings menu. They can access the background settings menu, however there is no "add new" button. This works on my own account and is available for us. I tested it with another guest account and again there is no "add new" button. I assume this is something to do with being a guest user. Is there a way to resolve this for Live Events, as the user needs this option. Thanks11KViews1like3CommentsGuest user cannot join live event via browser
I've setup guest access to Microsoft Teams, to be able invite guests to live events. I'm able to setup the live event with the option "specific people or groups". And I'm also able to join the event with internal users but not with external ones.Solved9.7KViews0likes8CommentsExternal users - specific people and groups - Teams Live event
Dear community, I have a question from the business which I cannot answer using the information on the Microsoft Teams Live Event pages. The question is as follows: Is it possible to select, while creating a Live event, which external users (not without our Office 365 tenant) are able to join the live event as attendee? The option specific people and groups is there, but we are unable to add external users there. So for example when mailto:jsmith@example.com is only allowed to join the live event together with internal users, is it possible to so? And if yes, what are the restrictions? For example; does that external user have to be a registered guest within our Azure AD, or does that person has to have a Microsoft account? Thank you all in advance for your help. Good Day, Due to the pandemic we are opting to start giving trainings and webinars using teams live event. Today after a brief moment of testing and creating live event rooms, I came to the conclusion that all of my participants/attendees were moderators. I(as the producer) invited a colleague as the presenter and I specifically choose two other colleagues for this testing purpose. I did not get the opportunity nor the ability to assign any roles to the two other colleagues except the presenter. Where is the option to change participant roles? is this an organization wide policy or is this set per live event. Additionally, from all the participants I am the only one that has the option to create live events. keep this in mind we all have business essentials license and also the teams exploratory license was assigned to us all.5KViews0likes2CommentsShare window in teams live event: cannot scroll down - not all windows are visible
In a teams meeting or in this case, a teams live event, when I want to share a window, not all windows are visible. In this case there are 4 windows, but only 2 are visible. The scroll bar does not fonction properly so I'm not able to scroll down to see the other windows. This is zoomed 100% (second image). When I change to 85% (first image) the 4 windows I can share are more or less visible. I'm having a live event this week where there are a lot of presenters and windows I should share, so this may not be the solution in that case. Any suggestions?Solved3.7KViews0likes5Comments
