Export O365 Offline Global Address Book
Hi All, While I can export my own Contacts folder, I don’t seem to be able to export our company’s Offline Address Book or the Global Address List (GAL). I need to import this list in another application and sometimes also use it for mailings both electronically and to their physical address which is stored in the GAL as well. How can I export these Exchange address lists via Outlook?
Office 365 Removal of Directly Assigned Licenses
At this link Microsoft shares an possibility as in a PowerShell to manage or rather remove directly assigned license to users provided you have added the users who have specific license directly assigned to a Group and this Group has been assigned the same license as the command / script requires group ID or object ID for the group to be specified in the script https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/active-directory-licensing-ps-examples However the issue this only works if your users dont have any other license packs assigned, If your users have another license packs assigned it skips the removal of direct license assignment with similar or following message User has extra plans that may be lost - license removal was skipped. Extra plans: BI_AZURE_P2 Is there a way this can be achieved even when there are other license packs assigned to the user BR, /HS
Office 365 E3 or Microsoft 365 E3
Has anyone come across a matrix that compares the above? For me, I am looking for a plan that includes Azure Premium P1 (I need the Conditional Access Piece). Seems cheaper to get the E3 plan and add the Azure Active Directory Premium P1 instead, unless there are other bells and whistles I am not aware of. Any comments would be appreciated.
Audio Conferencing Now Free?
I found this announcement here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/teams-add-on-licensing/microsoft-teams-add-on-licensing?tabs=education#need-help "From now until May 31, 2022, customers can add Audio Conferencing to a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 subscription for free for up to 12 months. Starting on March 1, 2022, Audio Conferencing functionality will be included in all Teams-inclusive Microsoft 365 and Office 365 licenses." Does this apply to academic license holders? We are currently A3 and would like to have this ability.No Outlook in Office 365 License?
I have an Office 365 license through my work. Everyone else seems to have been able to access Outlook except for me. All the other apps are available in the app launcher except for Outlook (see screenshot attached). Why can I not access Outlook? Is it not included in my license?
