Best duplicate file checker for quickly finding duplicates on Windows or Mac?
Hi everyone, My wife has an old laptop running Windows 11 at work and Ma Mani at home. She has been struggling with cluttered storage on the computer due to years of accumulating files. As you can see this is a common issue for old computers. And she asked me to help her out. I suspect there are tons of duplicate photos, documents, and downloads hogging space, but manually sorting through them feels overwhelming. A partition that is visible but not accessible, how to do it?
I have an old ASUS laptop initially running Windows 7 but upgraded to Win11. It was slow so much that it was unbearable, I doubled the RAM to 8 GB instead of 4 GB and changed the HDD to an SSD. It's day and night, the cell phone has found a real catch. Basically it has 2 HDDs of 500 GB each and each HDD has 2 partitions The 1st DD C: and D: is replaced by the SSD on which I installed Win 11 The 2nd HDD: when I open "this PC" it appears in C: the SSD and only one of the 2 partitions (SDATA2) of the HDD the SDATA1 is invisible but in the hard drive manager it appears. I don't understand why this partition is invisible? Do you have a clue to make it reappear without data loss?
Unwanted keyboard layouts keep showing up
Greetings, In one of my Windows 11 PC I am experiencing a very annoying problem. I have two keyboard profiles: Japanese and Canadian multi-language (QWERTY). I switch between them with Win+SPACE shortcut. But ENG US and ENG UK also show up, despite the fact that I have not installed those keyboards or language packs. I have removed the corresponding registry entries in HKEY_USERS.Default/Keyboard Layout/Preload (data is 409 and 809) but this does not remove the keyboard layouts and when I reboot those registry entries are again there. How can I get rid once for all of unwanted keyboard layouts? I am clueless. Especially considering that this problem never occurred in my three other Win11 PC or a Win10 PC I own too. Any help would be highly appreciated.
In Windows 11 25H2, File Explorer loses vertical maximum sizing.

Avec la fin du support de Windows 10 qui approche, je voudrais mettre à niveau mon ordinateur vers Windows 11. Le problème est que je préfère repartir de zéro et desinstaller windows 10 pour installer windows 11 proprement plutôt que de faire une simple mise à jour. Je ne suis cependant pas sûr de la meilleure méthode pour effectuer cette installation propre sans rencontrer d’erreurs. J’ai vu qu’il est possible de créer une clé USB bootable avec l’ISO de Windows 11, puis de démarrer le PC dessus pour supprimer les anciennes partitions.
