For some reason, audio often fades in when I listen to something in various applications, causing me to miss the start of the audio, and it's driving me to distraction. I've disabled all enhancements, spatial sound, and even disabled the Realtek audio effect component drivers in Device Manager, but it is still happening. What causes audio to fade in instead of starting normally? Everywhere I look, people seem to be complaining that Microsoft is forcing Copilot and AI on us. But for me, it's just a UWP app that I disabled from auto-starting in Task Manager and sometime I use. It's also in Edge, which I turned off for months but have started using more now, and it's in the Notepad app. Is it different on your Windows installation?
